    Dispute Evidence / Rationale
The timespan in which William "Billy" Mitchell has claimed he completed his supposed "perfect" game of Pac Man is not a real timespan. Rather, it is the mathematical average of two hypothetical timespans, five hours and six hours.

These two hypothetical timespans have been verbalised by Mr Mitchell himself.
, he refers to it as "six hours of play".

There are several reasons why this particular claim was entered into Twin Galaxies' score tracking database, all of which are addressed
. Even though this claim's presence in the database gives it a veneer of legitimacy, it is in fact unacceptable by any competitive standards, past or present, because it is clearly not an accurately measured timespan.

round number are always supsicious, but then again, maybe it was normal to round back then. I mean the score goes to .0, but do we really think 1/10 a second precision was used? I'd need to hear more on how things were timed, if things were just rounded to the nearest 15 minutes for example, not so strange.

Also, is that the only concern? Do you believe he did in fact earn a perfect pacman but you just doubt the time?

I'm having trouble viewing this as valid, but I"m not voting no just yet. Is there any more info?
Lode Runner champ, also, Roy was right

    Relax

    The whole thing was filmed.

And Mitchell is first. With a camcorder supplied by Funspot bearing down over his shoulder, Mitchell’s every last move was taped for posterity -- if not, at least, for irrefutable proof of the achievement. And, after the exhausting six-hour game was over, Mitchell backed away from the game in disbelief and then did the improbable: he announced his permanent retirement from playing Pac-Man. “I never have to play that darn game again,” he sighed in relief. “There’s nothing more I can accomplish.”

You linked to an article that mentions the recording, not the recording itself.

Why was 5:30 entered into the database? Maybe the person who entered the article simply made a rounding error.

Patience it will show up and we can enter the correct time into the database and marvel at some video game history.

You can bet your life Billy hasn't misplaced this recording

The original submission was reviewed, found to be valid, and the time entered into the database.

If you have proof that this time is wrong, please explain and show. Linking to youtube videos is not enough.

Yelling "look it up!" is not enough.

You need to provide evidence beyond even a shadow of a doubt.
