I think it was determined that 8,999 is the max-out regardless of how many points over is scored.
    Well played Peter… Accepted!!!

Looks like one arduous chore, playing this game for score.

Congratulations on getting through it, with your sanity intact.

Because of the Rollage I've added 3 screenshots and an explanation.

At this point I'm sitting on 8939, when I go up the ladder it will give 101 pts which takes me over the 8999

I'm now back to Zero, and heading towards Porky's hideout to blow it up

I get 1 point for passing the last stage, and 1 point for blowing up Porky's. This is the End of the game and I finish with 2 points, effectively 9002.

Not odd, at all. Along with "ownage", it's part of a growing family of gamers' made up words.

I can't think of any others, at the moment, but I'm sure there're a few more "-age" words already in use. Some of them are probably even more hilarious.

Incidentally, I don't say that scoreboards "roll over". Not an expression which was used, where I grew up. We used to say that someone 'broke scoreboard', when he or she scored more points than it could display. So, we had scoreboard breakage. Too bad there's nothing funny about that, since 'breakage' is actually a real word.

accepted. I will say for things like this I want to clarify I dont fully follow the "maxout" rule and so my acceptance is only my saying i'm fine with this score, its not an implicit indication that i would reject future scores above this

We should get "8,999 is the maximum score" (or something similar) added to the rules to avoid any problems in the future.

    Good job, Pete...Accepted!
