    - 0.182: Show popmessage on unknown writes only if VERBOSE is defined [System11].

    - 0.154: Updated CVS driver to use modern speech rom reading [Fabio Priuli]. Fixed Hero save state regression (couldn't repro the Dazzler one) [Osso].

    - 0.153: hap added xtal stuff to CVS driver.

    - 24th January 2014: Smitdogg - Andrew Welburn read out the PLDs from the CVS system and fixed some notes about it.

    - 0.150: Added 3x Signetics 2636 sound.

    - 0.148u5: Started to modernise TMS5110 (cvs.c, includes\cvs.h) [smf].

    - 0.145u6: Allow others to access CVS stars hardware [hap].

    - 0.135u4: Fabio Priuli added driver data struct to CVS driver and fixed all sets in drivers using S2636 video chip.

    - 0.135u3: Fabio Priuli converted Signetics 2636 video chip to be a MAME device and updated drivers using it accordingly.

    - 0.134u1: CVS improvements [Couriersud]: Hook up speech CPU. Get rid of "temporary" code which hardwire CTL & PDC writes. Use TMS rom clock as sense input for the S2650. Dark Warrior now speaks again on startup. Only one latch used for Sound & Speech. Hooked up 393Hz signal to "dac3". PCB pictures indicate discrete logic on the sound board. Marked all games as GAME_IMPERFECT_SOUND since we seem to miss some sounds. 4bit DAC remains mysterious. Partially implemented TMS5110_CMD_TEST_TALK [Couriersud]: According to the documentation, this needs to be issued to read status on CTL1. CVS driver needs this. Removed 2nd DAC sound.

    - 0.123u4: Zsolt Vasvari removed use of cpu_scalebyfcount() from CVS driver.

    - 0.123u1: Stephane Humbert fixed dipswitches and inputs for all games in the CVS driver.

    - 0.122u7: Couriersud added all known variants of the TMS5110 as proper chips. Updated the CVS driver to use the new chips. Replaced TMS5110 sound with TMS5100.

    - 0.122u6: Added VIDEO_ALWAYS_UPDATED for reliable collision detection in the CVS driver [Zsolt Vasvari].

    - 0.122u5: Zsolt Vasvari reogranized and started to clean up the CVS driver. Added emulation of the speech CPU. Removed CVS BIOS entry. Removed unnecessary patching. Fixed 2650 disassembly of the sense and flag bits. Fixed incorrect argument order in OUT instruction. Corrected spacing. Added 3rd S2650 (894886 Hz) and fixed dipswitches.

    - 0.122u4: Added includes\cvs.h. Rewrote the CVS system video code [Zsolt Vasvari]. Removed flags dispose from region gfx1.

    - 0.122u2: Couriersud changed the CVS driver to use the TMS5100 speech (according to PCBInfos) and "game system operational" now sounds more natural.

    - 0.94u1: Aaron Giles fixed games using the TMS5110 which refused to start (Bagman, CVS driver etc).

    - 0.89u6: Changed clock speed of the 2x S2650 CPUs to 894886 Hz in all games.

Regarding the DIPs, as with all games from Century Electronics (i.e. Hunchback, Heart Attack, etc.), things were really messed up back in version 0.106 when the rules for these tracks were written...the MAME devs fixed all the confusion in version 0.124 - for detailed information as to what was changed, see the comments from @terencew and I in this thread: https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/188000

Long story short, the DIPs were set correctly for this sub...voting yes.
