    Hey everybody!

So, Taz was the Atari Age High Score Showdown game of the week last week, and the competition was fierce! I was determined to score #1, because this has been a favorite game of mine since my childhood. What's funny (and kinda sad) is that I only got the second highest score for the AA Showdown, but the winner didn't record his run!

Well, I made sure to video record all my attempts to get the best possible score, and I ended up topping the world record.

Enjoy and thanks for your reviews!

    P.S. I still wanna get 500K! :b

Thank you all for your votes!

Quick question: I see that I am technically able to vote on my own thread - isn't that kind of dirty pool? Do you vote "Yes" on your own submissions? Just for the record, I have not voted on either of my submissions thus far.

    Thanks again!

P.S. Sorry about my ugly mug being the thumbnail for this vid - I will make the necessary changes ions so that doesn't happen again :D

Ive always voted on my own subs, I don't see any reason not to.

    Excellent score!

I compete occasionally on the Atari age High Score club, but haven't seen the High Score showdown before, any chance you can add the link to that ?
I wouldn't mind checking it out but I couldn't find it.

Love the commentary during your play. Amazing run. This game is so hard. Only thing I wished to see is you going berserk on that joystick. Nonetheless, accepted and congratulations.

we vote on our own stuff. evidence is all public and permanent. that limits issues of bias and conflict of interest. when i've made my mistakes i've rejected my own submissin -- not just because its the right thing to do, but heck, you need vote right to earn points. You cant force a wrong submission through all by yourself, and if somehow you manage the challenge system will catch you. If love of the integrity of the scoreboard isnt motivation enough to get past personal bias, credibiity and submission points are. Theres lot of motivation to vote correctly.

    accepted.
