Hadn't used the Prototype in a while. Now I remember why I originally used automatic gears for my Proto submissions. There's no optimum control scheme. You have to use the d-pad to shift gears. The Formula and the Stock car's gears shift fast--So after downshifting around a curve, my natural thumb movement shifts the gears back up by pressing down on the d-pad, no problem. With the Proto though, the gears shift much slower..My thumb movement upshifts too quickly for the car and kills my car's momentum. Holy crap, trying not to upshift by accident was ridiculous. Finally got a clean run here. I need to experiment with different button set ups and controllers before I make any attempt at Marco's Race score for this track....between the bad gear control and the other driver's getting in the way, that's a controller-thrown-against-the-wall waiting to happen :)

    Thanks for watching
