    Rules
Factory default settings – continues are not allowed.

Special Rules: The only code permitted is the one that permits you to access 'Hard Mode.' This is done by holding 'Select' until the word 'Hard' appears under the title. This is entirely optional. Your scoring attempt ends when your lives run out or you defeat the Final Boss for the first time. It's possible to die after delivering the final blow, allowing you to defeat him again and again. This is due to the fact he's worth 100,000 points, which is worth multiple extra lives.

Abstaining on this... looks like close to 30 minutes farming points @ 19m58s to 48m47s... I don't believe there's a timer in this game, is there?

In your speedrun submission for this game (https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthr...1-0-ryan-genno) you fly through that level with ease :P

With the other top submissions on this track and the arcade original it was allowed to earn points at stage 6 since there is a risk of being swarmed by a high volume of mutant babies if you take too long on the level. With my PC Engine run I wanted to go for both speed and points since it was a fresh start and there were no other scores to fight against.

I'll stick to abstaining on this one.. 30 minutes of this kind of play is quite a long period of time. I must not understand the sites policy towards "point scabbing" or "leeching" as this seems overly excessive, especially with no timer. I don't see this strategy allowed or disallowed in the track rules, but damn, 30 mins? :P I looked at the Arcade and even the MAME Splatterhouse tracks and don't see anything that allows this strategy. Am I missing something?

Quoting the TG "What is leeching?" policy @ https://www.twingalaxies.com/help

"A means by which a player accumulates additional points in game while engaging in activities that do not contribute to progressing to the next stage, screen or level, and while such activities are engaged, a player is not inhibited to progressing to the next stage, screen or level during commission of said activities. In general, a player should always be making a meaningful or conservative attempt towards progression within the generally accepted intended spirit and direction of the game."

If this was a minute or 2 of pointing up, sure, but again, 30 minutes of this seems a way over the top. I'm not coming after your scores, I watch a lot of video on TG when adjudicating and this was a rare big red flag to me.

The other top scores played here on that level for 50 to a hour cause eventhough you are killing the same mutant over and over again there is still a 'risk' involved especially since i die a lot too during this run hence the danger. I hate leeching too and thats why i wanted to avoid any of that with my pc engine run but it was approved prevoiusly using those risky tactics with the tg16 and arcade tracks. Again if you dont wanna vote on this one thats ok, i have the pc engine Splatterhouse one still available if you wanna check that one out?

Arcade version has some orb or something that will come out when you start leeching for to long, TG16 and PCE port doesn’t from what I know
