Rules	Grand Prix Mode or Practice Mode Special Rules: You may use EITHER mode for official timing. When using Grand Prix Mode, you must use the Standard difficulty. When using Practice Mode, Rivals are optional. Getting bumped by Rivals for extra speed IS allowed. Boosts may be stockpiled. For this variation, you don't need to win or complete the race for your lap time to count.
Submission Message	Hardware/Settings in beginning, only one race, lap at 3:10. Seriously, I remember trying F-Zero some when I was first willing to try the 16 bit racers at all, and being so disappointed that I was nowhere close to the times. It seems I've actually started getting better than average at this one-there's not a whole lot, as far as "knowing what you are doing", but once you get a few things down the game is much more playable than it first appears. Hesitant to play-real cart here Tuesday, worry about hitting times I can't replicate, lol, and I want my fast times saved on the cart, but I can't resist. Thanks Everyone!!!

Having the real cart is the way to go, it feels good to see your times saved there. I recently went to a retro videogames shop and asked the owner if I could get a small discount on a used guitar for the Wii if I could beat any time they had on any Super Mario Kart track that they wished, the guy said yes and he obviuosly picked Rainbow Road. The best time for the cart he had was around 1.38, I left a new record of 1.31 and got a 15% discount on the guitar.

Anyway, really well played Roger, accepted!

I've actually had the idea recently, there's a thrift store here, kinda a big one I guess, with different vendors, one has mostly game equipment, and they play tournaments occasionally on Saturdays-
Anyway, I wanted to start a "bounty" thing there, have a few games set up, the fastest times kept up with on a board or whatever-the "reason" for doing so would be on someone else, lol, "discount", "pay to play", I'd just want to set the top times for people to grind to try to catch.

Lol, he took a sucker bet on the Mario kart, lol(still, 1.38 wasn't bad!), he definitely wasn't aware of your powers!!!
