    TODO:

    - Raster effects (level 5 interrupt is used for that). In pbancho they involve changing the *vertical* scroll value of the layers each scanline (when you are about to die, in the solo game). In gogomile they weave the water backgrounds and do some parallactic scrolling on later levels. *partly done, could do with some tweaking.

    - The scroll values are generally wrong when flip screen is on and rasters are often incorrect.

    - gogomile: M6295 banking is incorrect (the story sequence should have speech).

    NOTES:

    - Z80 isn't hooked up properly, unknown sound chips. Need hw specs (Being worked on, OPL4)

    - Dips, need DIP sheet.

    - Raster Effects are imperfect, bad frames when lots of new sprites.

    - The scroll values are generally wrong when flip screen is on and rasters are often incorrect

    WIP:

    - 0.182: ACCESSING_BITS cleanup [Dirk Best].

    - 0.159: Added save state support to Fuuki 16-bit driver [Osso].

    - 0.155: Added video\fuukifg.c/h. Some Fuuki refactoring. This fixed noticable slowdown while performing full screen frame buffering [David Haywood].

    - 0.148u5: Verified clocks. Increased Z80 clock to 6MHz. Fixes Go Go! Mile Smile intro music and speech [Phil Bennett].

    - 0.135u2: Added includes\fuukifg2.h.

    - 0.72u2: Couple of improvements to the Fuuki 16-bit games (priority, BG colours) [Paul Priest].

    - 0.72u1: Changed fuuki16.c to fuukifg2.c driver. David Haywood and Paul Priest changed Fuuki 16-bit driver to use 'Partial Updates' for raster effects and enabled them.

    - 0.37b15: Changed pbancho.c to fuuki16.c driver.

    - 0.37b14: Added pbancho.c driver and vidhrdw\pbancho.c.

NOTE: "Country" DIP name was changed to "Language", and setting description was changed from "USA" to "English". I've tested it out, and as far as I can tell, having "Language" set to "Japanese" (as with this submission) does not change anything with gameplay, and only affects the language displayed in the game, along with causing the export warning to appear upon machine boot up.

DIPs were changed at 0.106u3 as Jason has noted. Change to 'Difficulty' doesn't affect this track - still 'Normal'.

And the default setting for 'Language' was changed at 0.155 from 'English' to 'Japanese'.

I suspect it's benign, but the extra time taken up by the export warning makes me not entirely comfortable with things here. Especially considering that (as should be the case in general) if DIPs can't be matched exactly to the rules, a bit of background checking or asking questions may have found the cleanest way through.

Will add notes to the discussion thread in the meantime.

Mind you, I won't protest madly if it gets voted in, but I'm just gonna have a bit of a play around first before I vote. Besides, it looks like a fun game!

    OK. I'm convinced... voting yes.

And I was right. It is a fun game!

I remember playing this one in a MARP knockout, fun game, but not the easiest to remember all the patterns so keep at it Evan and I'm sureyou'll get there. Accepted
