New user: seeking official rules for record

  1. New user: seeking official rules for record

Hi all, I'm new to the scene and have played video games since 4 years old starting g with a nes system and religiously playing super mario bros. I have general question on rules and such as far as to understand what is acceptable for setting world records and such. I have converted most of my owned media and prefer to use digital ways of gameplay via emulation. IF POSSIBLE, I'd like to understand the official rules of how to submit high score statuses in todays age. Video capture cards and live streaming I'm completely new to, however I've been around technology for some time and can grasp usually what's explained to me. Please direct me best as possible as I'd like to have fun doing so and possible get a twitch channel up going into 2020 along with Youtube.

Thanks for your time, looking forward to the responces

Here is a link to the section that details what to include in your video footage

Hope that helps, and welcome to TwinGalaxies!

I want to specifically point out, as you talk about preferring to play via emulation - Twin Galaxies distinguishes between scores on original hardware and on emulator, and emulator scores are only allowed on those that specifically state they are for emulators. You'll often see the score tracks prefixed with "EMU" in these cases.

Such as compare this NTSC NES Tetris track: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/te...-points/page/1
    with this EMU one: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/te...-points/page/1
