I'm in the TG database twice

  1. I'm in the TG database twice

    Hi folks,

I'm not sure who to ask about this but due to a quirk of history I have two player ids: 12713 and 8013. Both accounts have some of my scores. Someone may have made an account for me and I created one myself later. When I'm actually logged in my user id is 36553 and the system tells me I have no scores. If one looks at http://cubeman.org/mame.txt you can see the MAME scores up to 2004. Mike Antonarakis' score on 1942 appears to be wrong on the TG site.

I'd also like TG to archive some of the old TG MAME versions. I'm not very familiar with how this site is laid out but there may be some way to do this myself. Xmame seems to have stalled at version 106 but there are some significant scores that used it (not many I admit). There may also be some trans-operating system compatibility, that is to say that Xmame 106 scores may be playable on windows MAME 106 but I've never tested this.

I've placed some historical TG MAME data online before I forget it all: http://maxhost.org/other/mame-history.txt

I'd be willing to help out to verify XMame or SDL MAME INP files created under Linux. Barry Rodewald, the creator of WolfMAME, tells me that new TG MAME versions using the SDL version of MAME can be generated for Linux users. Once that happens we could archive the binary here.
