    Case in point:

There was never an official decision. All I know is that numerous people voted yes, which resulted in a penalty to my credibility. But that's not the point.

The point is, are we now accepting emulation on the Wii in lieu of actual 'Virtual Console' releases?

    They're being disputed right now.

I don't think this is allowed, and here's why:

You aren't using Wii's Virtual Console emulator, you'd be using an unofficial emulator.
Wii VC uses .wad game files, an unofficial emulator uses .rom files.

They are not the same thing.

To ask the question differently: Does this mean WII Virtual Console is not regarded as an Emulator itself? So games played like Donkey Kong must then be submitted under "Wii-Virtual" Game System with a track called Donkey Kong - EMU? Menaing it is not an arcade machine but an EMU of that?
