    Submission Message
A quick one. I wanted to go for the Beast Busters record as well as several others. Those others were proving a little too hard for me since they were Golden Age era (which is why I am grateful I wasn't born in time to experience the golden age of arcades in its full-on glory. I would have SUCKED at the arcades of that era).

This game was a fun one. Maybe I will go back to it and play it for fun (using continues and all) to see it to the end. But for now, here's my submission.

    WIP:

    - 0.150: ShouTime and The Dumping Union added clone Mechanized Attack (Japan). Fixed rom names. Changed description of clone (US, Single Player) to 'Mechanized Attack (US, Version 1, Single Player)'.

    - 29th July 2013: Smitdogg - ShouTime dumped Usagi V2.04JPN and Mechanized Attack (Japan).

    - 0.147u4: A. Costin, GordonJ/RomVault, Smitdogg and The Dumping Union added clone Mechanized Attack (US, Single Player).

    - 19th November 2012: Smitdogg - We got Mechanized Attack USA Ver 1. It uses a different program code and PCB layout from the dumps we have. I'm not 100% sure if it's newer or older than the USA dump in mame. They might have used the Ver 1 stamp to indicate the first time they made an update to a rom but based on the extra daughter boards it looks like an early version made for early sales before the bigger mask roms were ready. But it could also be a late release after they ran out of the bigger roms.

    - 0.130u3: Fabio Priuli fixed clone Mechanized Attack (US) coinage dips.

    - 0.128u4: Added ma9.bin rom (zoom table - identical to ma8.bin).

    - 0.125u2: Couriersud fixed YM2608 sound in Mechanized Attack.

    - 0.97u4: Highwayman added clone Mechanized Attack (US).

    - 0.76u1: Removed 3rd button.

    - 29th April 2003: Jarek Burczynski sent in a fix to the delta-t decoding in the YM2608 sound core, fixing the bad sounds in Mechanized Attack, and he fixed the LFO emulation in all of the FM chips.

    - 0.63: Jarek Burczynski added drum support in YM2608 emulation.

    - 19th November 2002: Stephane Humbert fixed inputs in Mechanized Attack.

    - 0.62: Added 3rd button.

    NOTES:

    - Beast Busters is a large dedicated (non-jamma) triple machine gun game, the gun positions values are read in an interrupt routine that must be called for each position (X and Y for 3 guns, so at least 6 times a frame). However I can't make it work reliably. So for the moment I'm writing the gun positions directly to memory and bypassing the IRQ routine.

    - Mechanized Attack (A8002) is an earlier design, it only has one sprite chip, no eeprom, and only 2 machine guns, but the tilemaps are twice the size.

    WIP:

    - 0.206: Misc cleanup [Vas Crabb]. Removed MACHINE_CONFIG macros [MooglyGuy].

    - 0.204: Removed GENERIC_LATCH MCFG macros [Osso].

    - 0.201: Removed NVRAM MCFG macros [Ryan Holtz].

    - 0.200: Splitted mechatt_state (difference at tilemap size, number of sprite layer, gun in/output and used register). Cleanup duplicates. Reduced runtime tag lookups. Moved GFX byte-swap into ROM load [cam900].

    - 0.173: Fixed some missing gfx in Beast Busters / Mechanized Attack [dink].

    - 0.160: Added save state support Beast Busters driver [Osso].

    - 0.139u2: Added includes\bbusters.h.

    - 0.137u4: Added new output handling functions and hooked up outputs for Beast Busters and Mechanized Attack [Howard Casto].

    - 0.126u2: Merged memory maps in Beast Buster driver [Aaron Giles].

    - 0.123u6: Added DIP locations to Beast Busters and Mechanized Attack. Also added note regarding correct gun calibration [RansAckeR].

    - 0.61: Added bbusters.c driver and vidhrdw\bbusters.c.
