    MAME Info
    MAMEInfo.dat entries: jackrabt and zaccaria.cpp
    MAMEInfo.dat entries for:
    0.33b4 [Nicola Salmoria]
    - In Jack Rabbit you must push the joystick diagonally to move. This is how the game works.
    - There are glitches when it is the 2nd player's turn (cocktail mode / does not affect Money Money). Karasu / stephh (ID 00800)
    - 0.186: Added 'Netlist Sound Device' (48000 Hz).
    - 0.179: Replaced DAC sound with MC1408.
    - 0.171: Make Zaccaria 1B11142 sound board a device in preparation for netlist sound [Vas Crabb]. Added 'Zaccaria 1B11142 Sound Board' sound.
    - 0.166: MASH added plds ($0, 400, 500 - pal16l8.6j, 82s100.8c and 82s100.8n) to clone Jack Rabbit (set 2).
    - 0.138u4: Fixed timing of TMS52xx OLDP and OLDE updates to happen on the correct IP/PC cycles, should very slightly improve sound/reduce clicking for TMS5200 and TMS5220 games [Lord Nightmare] (missing from whatsnew). Fixed audiocpu/audio2 rom addresses to $8000, c000, 2000 and 3000.
    - 0.138u3: TMS52xx now uses proper IP/PC/Subcycle counting for audio generation [Lord Nightmare].
    - 0.138u1: hap improved sprite drawing, added DIP locations to the Zaccaria driver and fixed minor color issues. Corrado Tomaselli reverified TMS5200 clock and measured Vsync clocks from Zaccaria hardware. Couriersud added a readyq callback to the TMS5220 interface. This is needed to solve the missing speech bug in the Zaccaria games. The INTQ and READYQ are connected to PIA 6821 lines CA2 and CB1 which are edge driven. Just reading READYQ would miss to detect a state change if between reads READYQ went 0-1-0. Updated Zaccaria driver. Changed TMS5200 sound clock speed to 649200 Hz.
    - 0.137u4: Lord Nightmare replaced TMS5200 table with table extracted using PROMOUT from actual chip.
    - 0.134u1: Zaccaria updates [Couriersud]: Removed TMS5220 kludge. Hooked up new RS/WS/READY TMS5220 interface. Removed DAC1 as well. Replaced it by attenuation control for AY2 - channel B. This fixed TMS5200 hookup bug, which is currently kludged to work.
    - 0.133u1: Renamed (jackrab2) to (jackrabt2) and (jackrabs) to (jackrabts).
    - 0.125u3: Replaced TMS5220 sound with TMS5200.
    - 0.122u7: Changed M6802 CPU2/3 clock speeds to 3579545 Hz.
    - 0.122u5: Changed M6802 CPU3/4 clock speeds to 894886 Hz and 2x AY-3-8910A to 1789772 Hz.
    - 28th April 2002: Karasu submitted a fix for cocktail mode in Jack Rabbit and Money Money.
    - 0.55: Sound in Money Money and Jack Rabbit [Nicola Salmoria]. Changed Z80 CPU1 clock speed to 3072000 Hz and M6802 CPU2/3 to 895000 Hz. Added 2x AY-8910 (1790000 Hz), 2x DAC and TMS5220 (640000 Hz) sound. Changed the sound1 to cpu2 rom ($a000) and fixed all other cpu2/3 rom addresses.
    - 4th September 2001: Nicola Salmoria added preliminary sound support to Zaccaria.
    - 0.35b11: Added 2x M6802 (1.5MHz) CPUs.
    - 0.34b7: Roberto Fresca added high score saving to Jack Rabbit.
    - 0.34b6: Nicola Salmoria added clones Jack Rabbit (set 2) and Jack Rabbit (special). These alternate versions are labeled 'Master Jackrabbit USA2' and 'Special Jackrabbit Do Not Ship'. Changed parent description to 'Jack Rabbit (set 1)'. Replaced the 4k gfx roms in (set 1) with ** roms from (set 2). Added sound roms (4x **).
    - 0.34b1: Nicola Salmoria added accurate colors to Money Money and Jack Rabbit. Added color proms ($0, 200).
    - 0.33b4: Nicola Salmoria added 'Jack Rabbit' (Zaccaria 1984).
    - You must push the joystick diagonally to move. This is how the game works.

    0.33b4 [Nicola Salmoria]
    - Implement discrete filters for analog signals 1 to 5 and attenuation control for signal 5 (74LS156)
    - The 8910 outputs go through some analog circuitry to make them sound more like real intruments.
    - Some minor color issues (see video).
    - Driver by Nicola Salmoria and manual from Andrea Babich.
    - There is a protection device which I haven't located on the schematics. It sits on bits 4-7 of the data bus, and is read from locations where only bits 0-3 are connected to regular devices (6400-6407 has 4-bit RAM, while 6c00-6c07 has a 4-bit input port).
    - The 6802 driving the TMS5220 has a push button connected to the NMI line. On Zaccaria pinballs, when pressed, this causes the speech 6802 and the slave sound 6802 to play a few speech effects and sound effects; This currently doesn't work in MAME, and tracing the code it seems the code is possibly broken, made up of nonfunctional leftovers of some of the pinball test mode code.
    - 0.187: Added Zaccaria to mamenl build [Couriersud].
    - 0.186: Added audio\nl_zac1b11142.cpp/h and netlist\devices\nld_schmitt.cpp/h. Use Zaccaria driver as a demo for the new machine config in members. Preliminary netlist sound for the Zaccaria 1B11142 board: * Tromba (trumpet) sound is not working - requires Schmitt trigger device. * Connecting cassa (bass drum) swamps other instruments so it's disconnected for now. * Mixing melody sound with speech/SFX is not done in netlist (should be). * Relative levels of melody/speech/SFX are probably still wrong. A good test case for this is Money Money. There's a bit of buzzing on this one as well. The problem with the cassa could be caused by running into non-ideal characteristics of opams again (the LM3900 seems to ignore the V+ value supplied to it). When the netlist library gets Schmitt trigger support, the tromba can be completed. Unfortunately, the tromba is a key part of the characteristic sound of these boards, so you really notice when it's lacking. Bump up accuracy on audio\nl_zac1b11142.cpp netlist - runs slower but sounds a lot better. Added a crude TTL schmitt trigger model and hook up in audio\nl_zac1b11142.cpp sound board, completing the tromba circuit [Vas Crabb]. Fixed typo in zac1b11142 schematics. 7414/7474 combo now actually works [Couriersud].
    - 0.171: Added audio\zaccaria.cpp/h. Replaced some interrupt gen members with MCFG [Vas Crabb].
    - 0.166: Commented MCFG_QUANTUM_TIME() entries in Zaccaria driver and tested each game and noticed no ill effects. Money Money and Jack Rabbit now run over two times faster than before, overall [Tafoid].
    - 0.157: Added save state support to Zaccaria driver [Osso]. Kill some trampolines [Alex Jackson].
    - 0.146: Updated Zaccaria driver to use modern I8255 implementation instead of the legacy one [Fabio Priuli].
    - 0.139u3: Added includes\zaccaria.h.
    - 0.33b4: Added zaccaria.c driver and vidhrdw\zaccaria.c.
