    Your first time playing in 30 years is about 30x my personal best LOL! Excellent job, and superb evidence as usual. I had no idea the wafers only gave you 1 point. I can see this one can likely be pattern played ... uh ... I think.

    you'd need several patterns cause the cats can be a little different. i'm not sure if they're compeltely random or if it randomly selects between fixed patters -- man i hate those semantics. what i mean is, you might need several patterns and it might be random which one you need. theres definitely some difference in how the cats move some of the time.

    I prefer to just have a general "pattern" that assumes no cats exist, you know, clear the maze as fast as possible and then just improvise around the cats

    also yeah, i experimented with different types of point pressing, and though i never 100% proved point pressing is a waste, the clear bonus is so high that i'm fairly confident you're better off just clearing levels as quickly as possible

    @ 1:50 "This game doesn't seem nearly as exciting as I remember it." With credits to the following other Atari 2600 points-in-maze games:

    But this one's still the cheesiest. *ouch*
