Actually, watching it back, kinda disappointed in me-
I think there's more than one tick faster, that wasn't a great lap at all, my speed starting and finishing the lap sucked...
    :(

This is the first time I’ve seen squared off turns. Strange track.

You should push this one a little further. Well done Roger... Accepted!!!

It's pretty funny, most of the tracks on this game are somewhat classic/well known Formula circuits, but I actually had to dig pretty deep to figure this one out-
It's a temporary road course they would set up in the streets of Phoenix, only lasted three years.
I'm not sure, but I think on account of what you are saying, the squared off turns, the racing wasn't too good, so they just ditched the idea.

(Just occurred to me as I was about to "submit reply"):
Haha, I think Phoenix, the town, is very "planned", and set up in squares, which would account for the track shape...
    :P

Ah, like Italy, this is one that might almost seem maxed, I know the 40.65 took me forever on NTSC, seemed impossible at the time, but I'm sure you saw close enough to see a couple spots where I wasn't as fast as possible on the "good one" here, so I DO think it can go lower!

I'm thinking that track analysis/noting speed is "easier" on PAL, but if you do find speed in a corner, you CAN do it on NTSC as well, it's just a little touchier.

    Thanks!!!
