    Rules
    Factory Default [PASSWORDS ARE ALLOWED!]
Special Rules: You ARE allowed to use a Password to get to a specific Fighter or Class. Please also note, that if you go for a Fastest Completion record, all times for this fighter will transferred under this variation unless otherwise requested. The game time required to defeat each boxer will be your record. Example: If it takes you 1:00 in the 3rd round to take down a boxer, your overall completion time will be 7:00 [Each round is 3 minutes, so 2x3:00 Rounds = 6:00 plus the 1:00 in the 3rd round] Your attempt MUST CLEARLY SHOW the FINAL TIME for each successful attempt. If you quit recording before it is displayed properly, your attempt will be disqualified. YOU MUST SUCCESSFULLY WIN THE BOUT for your time to count! Failure to do so will disqualify your attempt.

Please note that there is a way to stop the timer in the game, which involves throwing your punch a bit late. Due to the fact that this can be exploited into something more permanent for during the round, and due to the fact that you can do this quite by accident, I am imposing a 5 second window. This means if you stop the clock via this method, you have exactly 5 seconds to get the clock started again [Barring KO/TKO or Round End] or your attempt will be INSTANTLY Disqualified! NO EXCEPTIONS!

Yes, you do need to upload your footage to Twin Galaxies directly for submissions.

However, there's a bigger issue here. You played on a RetroUSB AVS, which is not an actual NES/Famicom console. This track requires original hardware, and this score is not valid because of this issue.

If there was an NES Emulation track in this case, it would be eligible for that track. But there's not one at the current time. If you are still interested in submitting this, it's likely someone could help with creating that track.

Lol.. sorry I'm a noob here.. I'm very aware this is not the fastest time although I've never seen anyone beat Tyson on an HDTV due to flash technology vs original. FPGA'S still utilize original framesets I believe if the rom is legit. However there was no category utilizing this so I decided to just say "**** it" and post anyway.. I don't care about the recognition. Only that it's possible to beat him on non original hardware due to these circumstances.

There has been discussion in the past about FPGA consoles and the possibility of if they might be allowed to count in the same category as original hardware, though current consensus has been that they don't. There definitely are still differing opinions among members though.

It is awesome to see your accomplishment, even if it can't currently make it's way onto the TG leaderboards. It's unfortunate you didn't have a setup for original hardware for this - I think we'd love to approve it if were done on, say, an RBG modded NES hooked up through something like a RetroTink.

I hope you have other gaming systems that do meet the TG criteria, we'd love to have more submissions from you! Feel free to ask any questions if you want to make sure you do things in a manner that are likely to get approved.
