    played on PAL C64 using Pi1541
    Game starts @ 21:35


    note: at the start when the game is loading that a screen appears saying "Press 'c' for Cheat"
    this was not used (pressing C disables the countdown timer)

    Well this was a sight for sore eyes!! You finally got one on tape!

    Great drive Blair, just the one crash. But that last lap was quick, I counted you passed 65 cars , was that the reason for the big bonus?!!

    Great stuff mate, I know you worked on this for awhile, now the reward is a HUGE score!

    Not sure about how the bonus works, i have passed more cars before in previous attempts but this does not seem to trigger the bonus. i think it might be a combo of fast laps with the occasional crash , im not really sure, I cant seem to find a common link between mine and the EMU run.

    Yeah. In the early period, most of the arcade conversions on the C64 were good. Then, the lacklustre ones began to prevail: Gun.Smoke, Iron Horse, Enduro Racer and many others were simply awful. But critics' award was won by Super Hang-On. I wonder where they found the courage to put something like that up for sale at full price (!). Obviously, there was a growing gap in hardware capabilities between the C64 and the arcade machines, and this had its weight.
