    Submission Message
This is my submission for Auto Racing on the Intellivision. Course 1. I chose the Tan Car (Car #4). My best final time was 3 minutes and 6 seconds. There are a couple runs on this video, but for this submission the best timed run starts at the 2:03 mark. Boot up occurs at the beginning of the video. Hardware shown at the end, power was on and the Auto Racing cartridge was shown. Reset done and power switched off and on at the very end of the video. Thx

Had a perfect run. No crashes on any of the laps...
***A strange game. The only winning move is not to play. How about a nice game of Chess?***

    Hmm.
    All I hear is...
    "Gentlemen, Start your Engines!!!".
    :P

Haha, brief experience, the "fast car" kicked my butt, mebbe the Tan car(I'm evidently colorblind, as it's green...)will cooperate with me better!
(Assuming I do play this, still on the fence...hard game...).

Well, congrats, Man, bit of a surprise on this one, I gotta say, but great work!!!

Okay I gotta ask, if the tan car is green, then what color is the green car? :-)

Lol, I'll look and see-my TV actually makes up it's own colors sometimes, haha!
Not my PC monitor tho, and I swear I am seeing green...
Also, I guess that's the fastest car, I thought the red one was?
You'll catch me doing that a lot, I DO spend time with manuals, but am really kinda dumb sometimes-"not minding" is how I get away with it, haha, "resigned to obliviousness".

This is what the manual says about the 5 cars...

1 (white): top speed 55, acceleration POOR, cornering EXCELLENT

3 (red): top speed 75, acceleration GOOD, cornering GOOD
4 (tan): top speed 90, acceleration POOR, cornering FAIR
5 (blue): top speed 90, acceleration POOR, cornering FAIR

Me and RaGe played Mario Andretti racing for a while on Genesis, pretty decent competition for a while.
All of a sudden, I started smashing him, haha-I read the manual, neither of us had realized that the car # affected the stats, and the #6 car was by far "the best"!
Needless to say, he came back and kicked my butt after we figured it out, haha, such is life!
"Read the Manual" is a big saying around here, I'm usually pretty OK about it, but not always.
