It seems there's a story behind the odd title of this game (that also has an alternate name: Martian Threat). According to Moby Games, «Martian Threat was first discovered by Dutch collector Marco Kerstens in November 1996. By that time the game was called "Jake", the name displayed on the title's screen (referring probably to Jake Dowding, a GST Video programmer). In later years other copies of the game were found, including a typewritten manual that revealed the game's real name. It was then released by Classic Consoles Center at Eurocon/Retrobörse on 11th October 2008 in Karlsruhe».

Martian Threat sounds way better than Jake.

    Jake...LOL!

So are all PAL versions called Martian Threat? If that's the case, the PAL track for Jake could be switched to MT. If only some are, maybe a notation in the Jake PAL rules would be good.. Something like, "also known as Martian Threat"

    Good stuff.....Accepted!

If I'm not mistaken, the game was initially just known with this silly title (Jake), then they found that typewritten manual that revealed what should have been the game's real name. According to this thread on Atari Age, Martian Threat was then released in 2008 or 2009 both for PAL and NTSC systems. https://atariage.com/forums/topic/14...few-available/

So maybe just adding a notation ("also known as Martian Threat") for both versions might be good.
