    Haha!
It makes a folder named Qix, and puts the NVRAM in there, lol!!!

Now-If I put "Nul", that's the only time it seems to work, BUT, it gives me errors, can't find Nul or whatever, and won't play in fullscreen, only a window.
However, it DOES NOT keep up with the NVRAM that way.

No idea what setting it could be, but to keep my fullscreen, I'm just gonna have to manually delete, I think, NBD!
    So they say

One last suggestion. Use the "nul" in the initiation file; start MAME; hold down "Alt", while pressing 'return' (not "Enter"). If MAME goes fullscreen, you've found your best option. If it refuses to go fullscreen, it would seem necessary to manually delete the NVRAM file.

If I have a return button, I can't find it!
Tried it with enter, and no go.
What I get, with nul in the ini, are two back to back error boxes-
    1)unzip:nul.zip couldn't find ECD
    Then
    2)un7z:error opening nul. 7z archive(17).
Then the game pops up in a window, and seems to play perfectly fine, and doesn't save/load an NVRAM.

Ah, I've beaten this(barely)in a "good" game now, and tbh it has ticked me off so bad so many times already I'm about to walk away from it anyway, haha-I know EXACTLY what to do to score, but Arcade versions of anything are just nasty, nasty monsters.

Still not seeing it-I read most windows PC's don't have a return key anymore?
    Is no worries!
