Attempt starts around the 29.35 in the video which is very near the end.

Congrats John. Great to see someone else take up a TrackMania. :D

The drop on this course is easily the most subtle part. Presumably you didn't let off the accelerator given the angle you took it at. I tended to use the tiniest of accelerator releases just prior to the drop instead of a large angle. Otherwise, the TM series is largely about as-the-crow-flies straight lines and tight cornering without skidding. :D .. and weird obstacles. :P
Lots of 1sts to be surpassed: what are you waiting for? Play the game, submit the score...

I'm really random on that one major part of the track. I try to time it just right releasing the gas and then back on but can't seem to get the timing down very consistently and the angle and all that are very difficult. I'll probably bounce around on different tracks learning the tricks as I go and then come back to the earlier ones with a better understanding and feeling for things and see if that helps.

Very nice time John, on the downhill try landing first on the driver's left hand wheel as supposedly quicker. Accepted

I try and I try, sometimes that wheel comes down, most times not. I think there is a little to do with the losing control of what my fingers are doing, sometimes you just can't control what the body want's to do.
