Why are these certified garbage scores still on the site?

They shouldn't. Its clear and obvious these scores are garbage. Just look at the players. Richard Sauther's name shows up on a few more bogus scoreboards.

    https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/gh...rathon-points/

The first two are a goldmine of bogus scores also input on 6-11-04. I figure tracking these names down in the database will show more scores that are also certified garbage.

So we go through and dispute every score that was referee verified on 06-11-2004?

i'd say no. if you look at the kaboom dispute for rtm's 999,999 and in particular the wayback machine of snipercade, you can see that any score from snipercase (TGs old sister site for atari) that had a blank date, letter had an import date added. These import dates dont always mean from a magazine or some other nonsense, they can also sometimes come from migrating TGs own data when a date is missing. At least thats how it sure appears to me.

however, if someone wants to investigate, and use known import dates as a lead, go for it. might be a fine red flag, starting point, lead, whatever. But in and of itself it shouldnt constitute proof.

So we should take them on a case-by-case basis. Got it.
