enjoying game and watch

Absolutley loving game and watch. Had been meaning to get to it (and maybe someday back to odyssey 2) but always had other things first. Well between every intellivision i have breaking screw it i'm not gonna learn how to reapir intellivision for that much effort and game set. atari paddles all gone, fine that one means enough to me i probably will repair the paddles, not clean, repair. they're past hope of cleaning. in the meantime, its a real blessing in disguise. i feel like the gods must've smiled on me and broke my other systems as reward, because my paddles and intellivions going has resulted in me playing game and watch and absolutley loving it.

fyi to all you purist snobs, this is the platform for you. there are no flashcarts or emu for game and watch. oh sure there are ports but ports are already divided off to the platform they're ported to

anyway back to the best donkey kong game of all time -- donkey kong jr game & watch

woring on, well, not a silly track in the pomerarian on lap sort of way, more like awkward wording that seems silly but i think makes sense and should be good competition

prices have gone up a bit, i was getting when most (some variance of course) were around 30-50. now it seems even bad ones are $100 or so, still its not a million dollars

honestly i didnt evecn know it was a series. i had the super mario bros one back in the day. i wanted it back, it was stolen within months. so years later on ebay i found it, to my suprrise, the ebay search showed there were many many game and watches, and my collecting of them all began (note i only have 7, not all, the collecting is stil in progress)

again, got them when they were cheaper. also when i was in college making $70 a week tutoring, when my buddies went ot mcdonalds i'd just sit and eat nothing, saving my money for video games. my collection looks rich, but when you realize i forsook all else to get it, it really becomes less impressive. my video game/magic collection is awesome, but its also my whole lifes savings. could you fit evertyhing you bought in your life into a single room?

rereading realizing my response my sound argumentative, in reality i love game and watch and love talking. i'm trying to NOT brag and be a jerk about my sweet collection by pointing out what it took to get it and what a loser i was in life to get there. heck, i chose to live in a small place with 5 roomates that probably would've been condemned when my coworkers lal had their own nice place, and why'd i do it? cause why waste money on food and lodging when you can buy video games.
