Video Upload Required For Every Submission

I was going to mass submit Hyrule Warriors Legends when I discovered that I had to upload a video. The video with the time I want to submit is already uploaded and I can just copy the VZAAR tag to the other submission.

Look, I understand that direct uploading is now mandatory, but the VZAAR tag copying can only be done if the video is directly uploaded in the first place.

Why not go back to how it was before?

    Already fucking tried to tell them. I'm sure it isn't priority. Really puts a kink in my plan when it takes FOREVER already to submit the same 20+ minute video over and over and over.

    You assume the drama queens actually play video games.

    Same as with 'Sid, I KNOW this isn't the solution you are looking for, but how about a ten second video, "Hi, Starcrytas here, Thanks for Watching".

    Then just use that as a generic intro video in these cases?


    Just a "for now" idea.

    it would save space on TGs part too. I know its not the 80s anymore storage is cheap, but it aint free. Many speedruns are first rejected due to being off by a second then resubmitted, so now those all have to be twice. Plenty of performances are a two for one. 5-life, 1-life, marathon track can all be from same video.

    This is a great for helping a user on their first submission to get it right. For a long time TG only catered to experienced users and the site was impossible for new users. This though is the opposite. Its so focused on helping new users forcing them to not forgot to upload video that it comes at a real price to experienced users.

    Also, the more steps you forced to do simluataneously the greater the risk of a single bug ruining it all. and lets face it, we cant ignore the probability of bugs kicking in.
