The Twin Galaxies Legacy Leaderboard Archive now live

A new resource is now available on the Historical section of the TG Wiki that will feature archival materials or links to "legacy" high scores that were either tracked/sanctioned by previous TG management, as well as leaderboards that continued to follow high scores following TG's closure in 1986. It is hoped that community members will find these materials useful in exploring questions around the tracking of video game competition over time and the prominence of high scores, some of which aren't found today in the current TG database due to decisions taken by previous TG management for various reasons.

To kick things off, I've uploaded a copy of the February 1984 Twin Galaxies International Scoreboard (TGIS) that was circulated to participating arcades between 1982 and 1985. Although a system comparison between the 1984 TGIS and the current TG database has never been conducted, it's known that some scores found on the TGIS didn't appear in the TG Book of Records or the database when it launched in 2000.

I don't see much when I follow the link. is it supposed to have some scores or a big white wall of nothing on the bottom?

Had a quick look at the source of the page & there's meant to be a bunch of images listed using the forum's attachments options. Here's one: https://www.twingalaxies.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=122354&d=1608080878 but doesn't display anything for me.

Thanks for the heads up - the malfunction will be addressed ASAP

Okay, perhaps it was a permissions issue, although I'm not 100% sure - can either of you now see the images by revisiting the Leaderboard Archive link above, @Fly or @Barthax ?

Also, can you see images in the Doc Archive?

I confirmed that when I'm logged out, I can't see any of the images myself, but hopefully they're now visible for anyone logged in...

I can see them on both & now the Documentary Archive makes sense! :)

Images have always been a problem on the wiki & is one of the main reasons that I haven't put more content on there. Was there something special about the permissions that affects everyone or do you know if it only affects your images?

OK, I can add images in with the URL in between IMG tags (square brackets).

Sorry to hijack your wall post to test, I'm not certain how else to get an image attached than through a post (the old "Manage Attachments" seems lost to me currently.

Is anyone able to see the above image on https://www.twingalaxies.com/wiki_index.php?title=Game:Iron-Maiden:-Legacy-of-the-Beast-Android-iOS ?

Would be nice to know how to thumbnail onto the wiki too.

Yes, I can see the image on the link you shared - nice! I was always failing when trying to use the image tags, BBCode style, it always just rendered the "hidden" text, and not the image. I'll dig deeper into how you did it later.
