SUPER BOWL!!!

The gambler in me wants a lot of my prop bets to win and ulitmately the 49ers straight up. My dad's team KC and the fact my biggest gambling win will come from Sammy Watkins winning MVP makes me want the Chiefs to win. Either way I'm happy and sad. Sports are awesome, haha.

    Congratulations! I hope your Dad celebrates all week long! While Watkins wasn't named the SB MVP, he made the most critical play of the game.

    I know it. I really don't think Maholmes deserved MVP. I thought it should have been Damian Williams. Maholmes was Okay, 2TD 2INTs, 280 yds and rushing TD...I don't put much stock in a 1 yd rushing TD for anyone. Williams had 130 total yards, 106 of them rushing averaging 6 yds a carry and 2 total TDs...and he would have easily had a 3rd if Maholmes didn't over throw him in the 1st-2nd quarter on that wheel route to the corner of the end zone. It was a great game. QBs always get the glory.

    There were rumors that he hurt his hand on one throw that hit a helmet. He seemed rather off for a good part of the game but was there in the 4th Q. That his overall stats were "okay" speaks to how well he's played up to this point; those 2 INT were the first after 163 playoff pass attempts.

    I blame the wheel route on the RB, and not Mahomes. He was the backup, no? IIRC, he stopped his route short.

    Now that I think about it, I don't the running saw the ball was on it's way. Not sure if it was the lights or he just didn't turn fast enough.

    Seemed to be a real team effort-there were plays that stood out, but not really one player who stood out.

    MVP=Andy Reid

    :)
