Vote yes on this dispute people!!!

Everybody who reads this, go to the link below and vote "YES". This issue needs a final say from the higher ups, and I'm not going to let it just sit around for a year before it gets settled and people forget about it. People are using passwords, I'm using passwords, some go through, some don't, it needs cleared up. So vote "YES" so the higher ups are notified and we can get that issue resolved and hopefully clarity to the rules one way or the other.

My understanding of disputes is there is a number of total votes that prompts a review, not just yes votes. Is my understanding incorrect?

thats actually a really good distinguishment. i thought, much like an accepted submission, it required both a minimum number of votes AND the majority to be yes. however to be fair i dont explicity remember it being laid out like that.

I thought it was so many yes votes...I don't know.

I thought it was the number of yes votes or a combination of yes votes and % of yes votes (majority). I believe this was designed to act as a filter to weed out some of the noise and nonsense that 'wastes' admin resources.

As far as I know, disputes don't work as regular submissions. It doesn't matter how many votes it gets or how many Yes or No, Jace reviews each one individually and makes the desicion regardless of the votes.

I just wanna say i'm voting yes because that is the right decision with the rules AS IS. That being said, i do think perhaps in the future the track rules should be adjusted to allow for the codes that unlock levels and cars as it's a bit of a tall order to play through most or the entirety of the game just so you can submit to one specific race track with any levelled up car. This is even more apparent in the wacky races game which is an even longer game i gather, in that case the track rules should be adjusted to allow the use of a save file?

I thought the Wacky Races had the password "allowed" in the rules? If not, you are correct, passwords should be allowed for that game as well. I really do find it baffling that games that save your data have passwords you can use, but some of these older games that don't save you can't. It's already been said, I truly don't think either side is wrong, but it makes more competitive sense to allow passwords to get those vehicles/tracks unlocked. Just rehashing things I've said before, and other will say the same stuff. Hope Franny, admin, Jace take a look at this much sooner than later so we all know and can move on which ever way they decide to go with this.
