yikes! I think 400m is out of reach. Haven't heard of anyone ever doing that. Not without glitching the game

Yeah, this might be out of reach. Even 21 years ago there were only a few claims of 390+. I seem to remember there being at least 1 claim of 400 or 401 an nothing materialized from that. I do know in my tries for a better jump BITD it would glitch and give 600M+ scores when you went too fast.

I guess I wish I had access to this one-

Looks like something that needs 2600 pixel perfection to accomplish, if it's possible at all, so I imagine it'd take a Greg or a Nads to pull it off, really.

    :D

I've never played this game, but this looks like something that could be interesting to give a shot. I called my local Game Xchange and they have a copy of this game available on PlayStation 2. I'm going to go pick it up and see if I can pull this off and if not, it'll be fun to try something new.

I've been having at this for awhile on the NTSC Gamecube version. I have a few questions. Does anyone know if the 400M on PAL version is the equivalent to 400yds on the NTSC version, or is there some sort of conversion that needs done? It appears that they are equal distances in the game, they used the appropriate measurement for whatever region you were playing on. If you compare the speeds KMH to MPH they all match up so I would think 400yds equals 400M in this instance.

Also, for some damn reason the Gamecube NTSC version does not display an odometer unless you have a controller in port 3 and enter a code (Hold R, then hit X 5 times). Would this be allowed to do since having the odometer there helps with timing? The video you linked to has an odometer displayed so I was hoping it would be allowed, otherwise I'm at a huge disadvantage timing wise.

No, the 400 yards is less than 400 meters it is short by 34.24 meters

    400.00 meters

    365.76 meters -

    34.24 meters short

    Happy 😊 Thanksgiving

I understand in the real world a meter is longer than a yard. However, just by playing the game and comparing jumps across both versions, I don't think the programmers adjusted how the game played to make an in game yard shorter than an in game meter. I think the distances jumped are exactly the same "length", they labeled them accordingly depending on region.
