As many in the community know, Twin Galaxies has been quietly working on its data platform advancement, both socially and technologically, for the purpose of better expressing the meaning, importance, and tremendous value of human achievement in the culture and activity of playing video games.

Twin Galaxies' new ThecePlay product, in partnership with Thece, leverages unique TG core platform adjudication functions and creates an entirely new way for sponsors and companies to be positioned as the hero-maker and generate tremendous direct engagement through positive video game challenges - instead of being traditionally positioned as the interfering "add-on" to a gameplay or content experience.

TG is very excited to enable brands like Miracle-Gro, with Walmart for fulfillment, the ability to engage with gaming audiences in a completely organic but non-intrusive manner. Our understanding is that this marks Miracle-Gro's first comfortable foray into the video game space, a feat that had previously not been achievable with traditional media buys.

I'm proud of everyone who has been involved in making this possible, which absolutely includes the amazing Twin Galaxies community itself!

To all the people who play video games and also like to garden, this one is for you!

I love it! This is great to see, can't wait for adjudications to start rolling in.

Jesus Bruce Lee Christ.

Is this real, or is someone pulling my leg?

This IS a joke, ya?

Please, tell me it's a joke.

Just...

I think its a great idea though. Some of my friends who wouldn't even bother with this site or something of this nature love Stardew Valley and gardening and think this idea is nifty.

Awesome, another way TG can achieve documenting the history of gaming through the way people play the varying aspects of gaming. :D It's not just points and times. ;)

Agreed, weird bounties belong in this place and I'm happy to see them. I can imagine the amount of difference in submissions seeing all the creativity because variety is the spice of life.

Probably not for me but bound to be good for someone. Definitely a demographic that is hard to cater to when people focus on high scores and low times. I support this.

Absolutely. This isn't high scores or fastest times this is creativity stuff and I'm totally up for seeing how this can be accomplished. People can put a lot of effort and work on creative projects in gaming and it always amazes me to see how far they go in games like Minecraft or even just Legos.

I was really kinda just teasing, BTW, to be inflammatory.

:D

You aren't the first I've offended with JBLC, but you just don't know about him.

Ya, ya, whatever floats your boat in the gaming, just do it.

So, ok, my own "growing" story.

Didn't care for the style of grass in my yard a couple of years ago, so Wife and I decided to seed it with professional grass, whatever, to take over the bad grass.

It worked out pretty well, first season it seemed to take, but was a little long.

Went to seed the next season, looked closer at the bag, and Wife had gotten some kind of extra long fescue, lol, and tho it looks very nice, like a carpet at times(I have a clover problem), it grows so darned fast I pretty much have to mow twice a week to keep up with it.

Some of us don't even view it as a negative or religious comment so I know I wasn't offended and found it lighthearted and funny but you know how offended those folks usually get.. I thought their attention was on Taylor Swift right now anyways. 😅

Serious question though - Outside of this wall post directing to an off site link, there does not appear to be a way to access this from within TG, like I'm not seeing it on the Bounties page? How is anybody here suppose to know about it once this specific wall thread ages off the top of the page?

Probably because they don't know how to implement tracks for a creative project. I'm interested in seeing how quickly they try to get this implemented when I've been going on about tracking measurements for years.

between clicking on the link as well as joining jace's livestream come months back, its not accessed the hard TG way, its accesed directly through THEIR webpage. i belive (i can be wrong) that it doesnt even cost submitter submission points, and they never log into tg, the sponsors site mirrors that parts of tg you need.

i'm not gonna get too political or religious, lets just say between my beliefs i'm not quite a "prepper" more like "prepper adjacent". Started gardening two years back. So this was kinda exciting. Also dont wanna bash the sponsors, but in me sharing this with my gardening friends i learned miracle grow comes with risk. your plants WILL grow faster so it aint a scam, but its like steorids that come at a price, your plants long term wil be weaker and possibly even die from the leaf grwoth outpacing the root growth. you want some quick flowers, yay miracle growth. you a dommsday prepper who wants a food supply? well s till get the free dirt but sell it
