Flashback Disputes

Just an update -

We have decided that the best solution for certain disputes regarding EMU Intellivision Flashback titles is to move those scores to an EMU track that indicates the nature of the performance.

Ideally, TG would have an ability to sort/list/filter a single leaderboard in such a manner that a move action to a different track wouldn't be necessary - however, that functionality requires a significant database restructure resource investment that TG can not make at this time.

So for now, a move action is needed, and to do that @admin staff needs to bulk create all the EMU tracks for the Intellivision Flashback platform. So we are waiting on that to complete before addressing those disputes.

    Ok so then why did this just happen? The Submarine Shoot score of 47 which was originally moved to an EMU track on the Intellivision platform, is now deleted?

    Am I going to get my cred back. For pointing out the issue. Cause maybe one day, I can actually dispute a score. I estimate my cred will come back to around 3800 once these are corrected.

    for the sake of scores, this is good. the first subjission was an honest mistake, and the follow up mistakes were entirely the fault of incompetant voters that led a good faith submitter to believe he was doing things properly

    i hope the "move" will instead be treated as a reject and reinsertion though, because hitting the cred of proper voters while continuing to reward cred of incompetant voters only goes on to guarantee further such mockeries will continue

    this is unlike the space invaders example. in that example people knew the pros and cons and consciously decided the past precdent should be follwed and admin agreed. here though past precedent was broken and adjudicators just plan dopped the ball

    will any emu submssion to other tracks also be moved and free emu tracks created? or will such a move only happen when jjt_defender is in danger of losing his precious cred?

    for context, i still remember the time i partially funded jjt's track that was barely worded just well enough in an attempt to show i really would work with him despite disagreements. also me daniel and others tried to create on own tracks in spirit of what he wanted but worded in a way all could play on

    franny came in and told us even though she admitted the tracks were worded properly we would not be allowed to make any more tracks for the game due to jjt's complaints.

    so this isnt speculation on conspriacy thoery on my part. in the past admin has forbidden us from using the system properly simply because of juan's temper tantrums. i cant help but to feel this is anothoer example of one rule for juan and another rule for everyone else.

    it wasnt deleted it was moved

    its now under the "emu" section for intellivision.

    Yes I know it was 'originally' moved to EMU Tracks, but if you like there now it's gone because today it was deleted. Look at the very bottom of the track listing in Sharp Shot - EMU Tracks - Submarine Shoot. The 47 score that was moved there is now gone.

    Thx. So then now that that track is setup under EMU tracks do you think I can just re-submit it there? The 47 score for Sub Shoot I mean that was played on my Emulated Inellivision Flashback?

    resubmitting there should work unless there's some bug.
