These terms govern your access to and use of our services, and your agreement to them is a condition of your participation on the platform.
At Twin Galaxies, we are committed to full transparency and clarity. We have taken every reasonable effort to ensure that the information presented here is straightforward, easy to understand, and free of unnecessary complexity. TG Forum - Rules of the Road
As a member of this TG Forum, you have the right to voice your opinions and views on the topics we cover. You also have the right to disagree with official TG positions and the opinions of other Forum members. However, because TG forums are "public" spaces, a few basic rules of the road are necessary, and you will be held accountable for your actions.
As a TG Forum member, at all times you will:
-- Abusive behavior in online forums is a very real and growing concern for every organization that has a Web presence. Real people have been hurt (sometimes with devastating and even fatal consequences) because of abusive posts. TG does not have to tolerate such behavior and we won't. As in other forums, you have NO "free-speech" rights in TG forums.
-- The potential for child abuse and other illegal practices unfortunately exists in any online forum. TG will cooperate fully and without reservation with the authorities to identify any such activity.
-- To combat abusive posting, ALL TG forums are monitored and members are required to identify themselves by their REAL name. Anonymous posting is not allowed. IP addresses and other appropriate information are logged and retained in accordance with state and Federal regulations and the Computer Misuse Act of The Bahamas.
-- For the present, all Forum posts must be in the English language, others will be deleted. As soon as possible, we intend to actively support other major languages, and hope to provide limited translation resources where we can. Please be patient.
-- These kinds of "rules of the road" have been adopted by many organizations to help safeguard their forum members and they reflect the evolving norms of acceptable online community behavior.
So, What Does This Mean To You?
Obey the law. Do not post any information or conduct any online activity that may violate applicable laws and regulations.
Behave. Always conduct yourself like an adult. Please do not allow your emotions to take control where you become so angry that you find yourself in breach of these rules and/or more importantly the laws and regulations governing this site.
Anyone can make a mistake-once, but if your behavior is consistently and deliberately malicious, you may be banned from the Twin Galaxies Platform, events, and competitions. Neither Twin Galaxies nor its members will tolerate bullying, threatening, or abusive behavior.
Keep comments on topic. Any comment that appears to be off-topic will be edited or more likely just deleted. We encourage you to be precise and concise in your posting(less is more). Do not aimlessly spend your time on a long-winded exposition.
You must register for our platform using valid email address and phone number to become verified.
Misrepresenting your identity can get you banned from the Twin Galaxies Platform.
Contacting another Twin Galaxies member who has not consented to the same and/or that you do not know personally, outside of the Twin Galaxies website platform, is prohibited and may result in a 6-month or longer ban. Please see our TG Member Contact Policy for more detail.
External linking – A few external links are permitted if they are relevant to the original post and to your comments. Linking to illegal, offensive, profane, pornographic or gambling sites is strictly prohibited. No links to any inappropriate or offensive material; no upload, post, email or otherwise transmission of any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable. Failure to adhere to this may lead to your dismissal from the platform.
Profanity – Moderately colorful language is allowed – we are gamers, after all, but we consider blatant profanity offensive, and we may delete it. We may not be able to define the complete scope of what is considered profane, but we know it when we see it. This includes profane, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, obscene or sexually explicit language or comments.
Personal attacks – personal attacks on anyone can result in an immediate and permanent ban. This includes libelous comments and persistent misstatements of fact or threats against others.
Copyright and Trademark Laws – Willfully violating copyright or trademark laws may result in being banned from the forum. Do NOT post material that you do not own.
Impersonation of any person or entity, including, but not limited to falsely stating or otherwise misrepresenting an affiliation with a person or entity can result in being immediately banned from the forum.
TG's Responsibility – While we encourage comments that challenge or offer constructive criticism, we reserve the right to edit or remove any post, for any reason at any time. We also reserve the right to do any of the following for any reason at any time: remove, re-categorize, re-list, un-list, delete, restore, adjust, invalidate, validate, credit, or discredit any score, performance, or other data that may be currently stored or has ever been stored in any Twin Galaxies owned, controlled, or managed database.

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws, be they of your country, the country where "Twin Galaxies" is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently suspended, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that "Twin Galaxies" has the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user, you agree that any information you provide to Twin Galaxies may be stored in our systems or databases, subject to our Privacy Policy. Bounty System Terms and Waiver Agreement - Bounty Creator and Claimant:
Users of the Twin Galaxies Website can create Bounty/Bounties, or challenges, which lets the Creator give out a prize or Bounty upon completion, subject to the Creator's conditions. Anyone may join such Bounty quests, provided they agree to follow all TG Bounty Creation and Claims Guidelines (https://www.twingalaxies.com/wiki_in...ims-Guidelines ) and shall agree and abide by the TG Terms of Service (https://www.twingalaxies.com/wiki_in...rms-of-Service).
TG bears no responsibility or liability for any aspect of any Bounty a Creator creates and the Creator agrees that in the event of disputes regarding the Bounty created, the Twin Galaxies Submission and Adjudication Process (TGSAP) and the Twin Galaxies Dispute Process (TGDP) will be the sole processes to be followed in determining the method of Bounty claim eligibility and/or authentication. All Claimants and the Creator agrees to honor the rewards and promises based on the TGSAP and TGDP decision system's results.

The Creator is responsible for the payout of their Bounties and shall payout the Bounty reward obligations when a TGSAP verified and authenticated claim is accepted.
Claimants shall submit any and all claim materials to TGSAP, for authentication. If a Claim is authenticated, then it will appear and occupy one of the available claim slots of that particular Bounty. The Creator undertakes to fulfill any promised reward obligation to such TGSAP authenticated Claimant.
By participating in any Bounty and/or collecting any Bounty, Creator and Claimant expressly remises, releases, acquits, satisfies, and forever discharges Twin Galaxies Worldwide, LLC. and its employees, owners, members, shareholders, officers, managers, principles, subsidiaries and affiliates ("TG Releasees") from all and all manner of action and actions, cause and causes of action, suits, debts, dues, and sums of money, accounts, reckonings, bonds, bills, specialties, covenants, contracts, controversies, agreements, promises, damages, judgments, execution, claims and demands whatsoever, in law or in equity, which Creator or Claimant ever had, now has or hereafter can, shall or may have against TG Releasees for, upon or by reason of any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, including but not limited to this or any other Bounty ("Claim"). Further, Creator and Claimant agrees and covenants not to sue any TG Releasee for any Claim and acknowledges and agrees that any grievance or Claim that Claimant may have related to any Bounty shall be brought solely and exclusively against the Creator of the Bounty.
Both Creator and Claimant represent and warrant that they have full and complete authority, corporate, partnership or otherwise to bind each party. This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of parties claiming by, through or under the parties and all of their respective successors and/or assigns. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to its subject matter and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, commitments, negotiations, and discussions, whether oral or written. This Agreement may only be amended by Twin Galaxies Worldwide, LLC in its discretion. The terms of this Agreement will, where possible, be interpreted and enforced so as to sustain their legality and enforceability, reads as if they cover on the specific situation to which they are being applied and enforced to the fullest extent permissible under applicable law. If any term of this Agreement is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or incapable of being enforced, then all other terms of this Agreement will nevertheless remain in full force and effect, and such term automatically will be amended so that it is valid, legal and enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, but as close to the parties' original intent as is permissible.
TG and both Creator and Claimant acknowledge and agree that this Agreement has been entered into in and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. The parties agree that any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to this Agreement, including the scope, interpretation, breach or validity thereof, will be brought and tried exclusively in Nassau, The Bahamas, and the parties expressly waive their right to have any such dispute, claim or controversy brought or tried anywhere else in the world.
By creating or registering a user account, or accessing or using any part of the website, you assert and agree that you have carefully read this consent and waiver and fully understand its contents, including the policies linked. You are aware that you're releasing certain legal rights that you otherwise may have and, you agree to become bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement on behalf of myself of my own free will.
You further acknowledge that if a bounty challenge is sponsored by either a private or commercial entity, that you have fully read, understood, and consented to all of the sponsor's terms and conditions, and you fully grant Twin Galaxies permission to share your contact information, submissions, and any other collected data Twin Galaxies deems relevant with the sponsor, strictly for administration of the challenge and prize fulfillment purposes in accordance with the official rules.

The following terms and conditions govern all use of the TwinGalaxies.com website and all content, services and products available at or through the website, including, but not limited to, TwinGalaxiesLive.com by TwinGalaxies.com and the TwinGalaxies.com high score verification and adjudication service ("Verification Service") (taken together, the Website). The Website is owned and operated by Twin Galaxies Worldwide, LLC (herein referred to as “Twin Galaxies”). The Website is offered subject to your acceptance without modification of all of the terms and conditions contained herein and all other operating rules, policies (including, without limitation, the Twin Galaxies Privacy Policy) and procedures that may be published from time to time on this Site by Twin Galaxies (collectively, the "Agreement").
Please read this Agreement carefully before accessing or using the Website. By accessing or using any part of the website, you agree to become bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the Website or use any services. If these terms and conditions are considered an offer by Twin Galaxies, acceptance is expressly limited to these terms. Your TwinGalaxies.com Account and Blog. Responsibility of Contributors. If you operate a blog, comment on a blog, post material to the Website, post links on the Website, upload a video game score performance video or otherwise make (or allow any third party to make) material available by means of the Website (any such material, "Content"), you are entirely responsible for the content of, and any harm resulting from, that Content. By becoming a Twin Galaxies member and/or submitting a performance to Twin Galaxies, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
- Acceptance of Terms: You irrevocably agree to be subject to the Twin Galaxies Dispute System and accept all decisions rendered through the process as final and binding.
- Waiver of Legal Claims: You expressly waive any right to file, initiate, or participate in any lawsuit or other legal proceeding against Twin Galaxies, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or agents regarding any aspect of the dispute process, including its decisions or outcomes. This waiver applies to all claims arising under any legal theory, including contract, tort, and statute.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Twin Galaxies, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, demands, damages, losses, or liabilities (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
Nature of Dispute Statements: As part of the dispute process, Twin Galaxies may issue statements explaining its decisions or providing commentary regarding the evidence or circumstances of a performance. Additionally, Twin Galaxies members may participate in fact-finding discussions within the dispute thread. You expressly agree and acknowledge the following:
If you no longer wish to be personally associated with your Public Submission Data, you may request that Twin Galaxies anonymize your data. Anonymization will remove or obscure personally identifiable information (e.g., your name, user profile, or other identifying details) while retaining the submitted content itself for archival, adjudication, and display purposes. Anonymization requests can be submitted to Twin Galaxies at [email protected] and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please note that anonymization is irreversible, may permanently terminate your Twin Galaxies membership in the form of a ban, and will not affect the public availability or adjudicated status of the data.
To ensure the continued operation and integrity of the Twin Galaxies platform, all users agree to waive certain legal claims and accept limitations on the platform's liability. These terms are designed to provide clarity and fairness while enabling Twin Galaxies to focus on its mission of archiving and verifying video game achievements. By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge the following:
- You waive any right to file or participate in any lawsuit or other legal proceeding against Twin Galaxies, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or agents for any claims, disputes, or controversies arising out of or related to this agreement, your use of the services, or your relationship with Twin Galaxies. This waiver applies to all claims, whether arising under contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, and is a condition of your use of the services. You acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to seek independent legal advice regarding this waiver before agreeing to these terms.
- In the event that this waiver is determined to be unenforceable in whole or in part, you agree that the total amount or value of any claim, dispute, or controversy that you may bring against Twin Galaxies, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or agents shall be limited to a maximum aggregate amount of $10,000. This limitation applies regardless of the nature of the claim, whether based on contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, and regardless of the number of claims brought or the number of parties involved.

This limitation of liability does not apply to damages or losses caused by:
- If any provision of this section is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect, and the unenforceable provision shall be interpreted to the maximum extent permissible to give effect to the intent of this agreement.

Twin Galaxies has not reviewed, and cannot review, all of the material posted to the Website, and cannot therefore be responsible for that material's content, use or effects. By operating the Website, Twin Galaxies does not represent or imply that it endorses the material that was posted, or that it believes such material to be accurate, useful or non-harmful. Twin Galaxies, TwinGalaxies.com, the TwinGalaxies.com logo, and all other trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with TwinGalaxies.com and/or the Website are trademarks or registered trademarks of Twin Galaxies or Twin Galaxies' licensors. Other trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with the Website may be the trademarks of other third parties. Your use of the Website grants you no right or license to reproduce or otherwise use any Twin Galaxies or third-party trademarks.
Advertisements. Twin Galaxies reserves the right to display advertisements on your blog and throughout the website.
Attribution. Twin Galaxies reserves the right to display attribution links such as 'Blog at TwinGalaxies.com,' theme author, and font attribution in your blog footer or toolbar. Footer credits and other TwinGalaxies.com branding may not be altered or removed.
Changes. Twin Galaxies reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace any part of this Agreement at any time. You agree that it is your responsibility to check this Agreement periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the Website following the posting of any changes to this Agreement constitutes acceptance of those changes. Twin Galaxies may also, in the future, offer new services and/or features through the Website. Such new features and/or services shall be subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
Termination. Twin Galaxies may terminate your access to all or any part of the Website at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. If you wish to terminate this Agreement or your TwinGalaxies.com account (if you have one), you may simply discontinue using the Website. All provisions of this Agreement which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, submitted scores, submitted performances, submitted content, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
Disclaimer of Warranties. The Website is provided "as is". Twin Galaxies and its suppliers and licensors hereby disclaim all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Neither Twin Galaxies nor its suppliers and licensors, makes any warranty that the Website will be error free or that access thereto will be continuous or uninterrupted. You understand that you download from, or otherwise obtain content or services through, the Website at your own discretion and risk.
Limitation of Liability. In no event will Twin Galaxies, or its suppliers or licensors, be liable with respect to any subject matter of this agreement under any contract, negligence, strict liability or other legal or equitable theory for: (i) any special, incidental or consequential damages; (ii) the cost of procurement for substitute products or services; (iii) for interruption of use or loss or corruption of data; or (iv) for any amounts that exceed the fees paid by you to Twin Galaxies under this agreement during the twelve (12) month period prior to the cause of action. Twin Galaxies shall have no liability for any failure or delay due to matters beyond their reasonable control. The foregoing shall not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
General Representation and Warranty. You represent and warrant that (i) your use of the Website will be in strict accordance with the Twin Galaxies Privacy Policy, with this Agreement and with all applicable laws and regulations (including without limitation any local laws or regulations in your country, state, city, or other governmental area, regarding online conduct and acceptable content, and including all applicable laws regarding the transmission of technical data exported from the United States or the country in which you reside) and (ii) your use of the Website will not infringe or misappropriate the intellectual property rights of any third party.
Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Twin Galaxies, its contractors, and its licensors, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of the Website, or any content you have provided, including but not limited to your violation of this Agreement

The Twin Galaxies platform relies on user-submitted content to operate its adjudication system and maintain its historical archives. As a community-driven platform, Twin Galaxies does not have the capacity to verify every submission for compliance with all applicable laws or third-party rights. To protect the platform and its users from potential legal claims, the indemnification provision ensures that accountability rests with the individual who submits the content.
How to Minimize Liability
To avoid potential legal claims and minimize your liability:
While Twin Galaxies reserves the right to remove, modify, or reject content that may violate third-party rights or applicable laws, the platform does not assume responsibility for proactively monitoring or verifying all submitted content in this regard. As a condition of participation, you acknowledge that the responsibility for ensuring legal compliance lies with you, the submitter.
Acknowledgment of Indemnification
By submitting content to Twin Galaxies, you affirm that you understand and agree to the indemnification terms. These terms are designed to protect the platform, its community, and its mission of preserving video game achievements while providing a fair and transparent environment for all participants.
Miscellaneous. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Twin Galaxies and you concerning the subject matter hereof, and they may only be modified by a written amendment signed by an authorized executive of Twin Galaxies, or by the posting by Twin Galaxies of a revised version. Except to the extent applicable law, if any, provides otherwise, this Agreement, any access to or use of the Website will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, excluding its conflict of law provisions, and the proper venue for any disputes arising out of or relating to any of the same will be the exclusively The Bahamas. If any part of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, that part will be construed to reflect the parties' original intent, and the remaining portions will remain in full force and effect. A waiver by either party of any term or condition of this Agreement or any breach thereof, in any one instance, will not waive such term or condition or any subsequent breach thereof. You may assign your rights under this Agreement to any party that consents to, and agrees to be bound by, its terms and conditions; Twin Galaxies may assign its rights under this Agreement without condition. This Agreement will be binding upon and will inure to the benefit of the parties, their successors and permitted assigns.

As a member of this TG Forum, you have the right to voice your opinions and views on the topics we cover. You also have the right to disagree with official TG positions and the opinions of other Forum members. External linking – A few external links are permitted if they are relevant to the original post and to your comments. Linking to illegal, offensive, profane, pornographic or gambling sites is strictly prohibited. No links to any inappropriate or offensive material; no upload, post, email or otherwise transmission of any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable. Bounty System Terms and Waiver Agreement - Bounty Creator and Claimant:
Users of the Twin Galaxies Website can create Bounty/Bounties, or challenges, which lets the Creator give out a prize or Bounty upon completion, subject to the Creator's conditions. TG bears no responsibility or liability for any aspect of any Bounty a Creator creates and the Creator agrees that in the event of disputes regarding the Bounty created, the Twin Galaxies Submission and Adjudication Process (TGSAP) and the Twin Galaxies Dispute Process (TGDP) will be the sole processes to be followed in determining the method of Bounty claim eligibility and/or authentication. All Claimants and the Creator agrees to honor the rewards and promises based on the TGSAP and TGDP decision system's results.

The Creator is responsible for the payout of their Bounties and shall payout the Bounty reward obligations when a TGSAP verified and authenticated claim is accepted.
Claimants shall submit any and all claim materials to TGSAP, for authentication. If a Claim is authenticated, then it will appear and occupy one of the available claim slots of that particular Bounty. The Creator undertakes to fulfill any promised reward obligation to such TGSAP authenticated Claimant.
By participating in any Bounty and/or collecting any Bounty, Creator and Claimant expressly remises, releases, acquits, satisfies, and forever discharges Twin Galaxies Worldwide, LLC. and its employees, owners, members, shareholders, officers, managers, principles, subsidiaries and affiliates ("TG Releasees") from all and all manner of action and actions, cause and causes of action, suits, debts, dues, and sums of money, accounts, reckonings, bonds, bills, specialties, covenants, contracts, controversies, agreements, promises, damages, judgments, execution, claims and demands whatsoever, in law or in equity, which Creator or Claimant ever had, now has or hereafter can, shall or may have against TG Releasees for, upon or by reason of any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, including but not limited to this or any other Bounty ("Claim"). Further, Creator and Claimant agrees and covenants not to sue any TG Releasee for any Claim and acknowledges and agrees that any grievance or Claim that Claimant may have related to any Bounty shall be brought solely and exclusively against the Creator of the Bounty.
Both Creator and Claimant represent and warrant that they have full and complete authority, corporate, partnership or otherwise to bind each party. This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of parties claiming by, through or under the parties and all of their respective successors and/or assigns. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to its subject matter and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, commitments, negotiations, and discussions, whether oral or written. This Agreement may only be amended by Twin Galaxies Worldwide, LLC in its discretion. The terms of this Agreement will, where possible, be interpreted and enforced so as to sustain their legality and enforceability, reads as if they cover on the specific situation to which they are being applied and enforced to the fullest extent permissible under applicable law. If any term of this Agreement is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or incapable of being enforced, then all other terms of this Agreement will nevertheless remain in full force and effect, and such term automatically will be amended so that it is valid, legal and enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, but as close to the parties' original intent as is permissible.
TG and both Creator and Claimant acknowledge and agree that this Agreement has been entered into in and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. The parties agree that any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to this Agreement, including the scope, interpretation, breach or validity thereof, will be brought and tried exclusively in Nassau, The Bahamas, and the parties expressly waive their right to have any such dispute, claim or controversy brought or tried anywhere else in the world.
By creating or registering a user account, or accessing or using any part of the website, you assert and agree that you have carefully read this consent and waiver and fully understand its contents, including the policies linked. You are aware that you're releasing certain legal rights that you otherwise may have and, you agree to become bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement on behalf of myself of my own free will.
You further acknowledge that if a bounty challenge is sponsored by either a private or commercial entity, that you have fully read, understood, and consented to all of the sponsor's terms and conditions, and you fully grant Twin Galaxies permission to share your contact information, submissions, and any other collected data Twin Galaxies deems relevant with the sponsor, strictly for administration of the challenge and prize fulfillment purposes in accordance with the official rules.

The following terms and conditions govern all use of the TwinGalaxies.com website and all content, services and products available at or through the website, including, but not limited to, TwinGalaxiesLive.com by TwinGalaxies.com and the TwinGalaxies.com high score verification and adjudication service ("Verification Service") (taken together, the Website). The Website is owned and operated by Twin Galaxies Worldwide, LLC (herein referred to as “Twin Galaxies”). - Acceptance of Terms: You irrevocably agree to be subject to the Twin Galaxies Dispute System and accept all decisions rendered through the process as final and binding.
- Waiver of Legal Claims: You expressly waive any right to file, initiate, or participate in any lawsuit or other legal proceeding against Twin Galaxies, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or agents regarding any aspect of the dispute process, including its decisions or outcomes. This waiver applies to all claims arising under any legal theory, including contract, tort, and statute.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Twin Galaxies, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, demands, damages, losses, or liabilities (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your submission of performances to the Twin Galaxies database.
- The dispute process or its outcomes.
- Any third-party claims arising from or related to the dispute system.
Nature of Dispute Statements: As part of the dispute process, Twin Galaxies may issue statements explaining its decisions or providing commentary regarding the evidence or circumstances of a performance. Additionally, Twin Galaxies members may participate in fact-finding discussions within the dispute thread. You expressly agree and acknowledge the following:
- Twin Galaxies Statements:
--> All statements made by Twin Galaxies as part of the dispute process are expressions of belief, opinion, or conclusion based on the evidence presented at the time.
--> Such statements shall not be construed as factual accusations, defamatory remarks, or assertions intended to harm any individual or entity.
--> You expressly waive any claim for libel, slander, defamation, or similar legal actions against Twin Galaxies, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or agents, arising out of any statements made during the dispute process. - Protections for TG Members:
--> Twin Galaxies members participating in the dispute process by submitting evidence, providing commentary, or engaging in discussions do so in good faith to assist in fact-finding and ensure the integrity of the dispute system.
--> Any statements or contributions made by members during the dispute process are considered expressions of opinion or belief based on their understanding of the evidence.
--> Members shall not be held liable for claims of defamation, libel, slander, or similar actions based on their good-faith participation in dispute discussions.
--> You expressly agree to indemnify and hold harmless Twin Galaxies and its members from any claims, demands, or liabilities arising out of statements made during the dispute process. - Good Faith Participation:
--> Protections under this section only apply to members who participate in good faith and in compliance with Twin Galaxies' policies.
--> Twin Galaxies reserves the right to take action against members who engage in malicious, false, or harmful conduct during the dispute process. - Evidence-Based Discussions:
--> Contributions made by members must focus on evidence and the performance record under dispute. Personal attacks or irrelevant commentary are prohibited and not protected under this policy.
- Scope of Appeals - Users may appeal the following types of decisions:
--> Account suspensions or terminations.
--> Score invalidations or removals.
--> Content removals or other administrative actions affecting their participation on the platform. - Submitting an Appeal
--> Appeals must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the action being taken.
--> Include a clear description of the decision being challenged, supporting evidence or documentation, and the reasons for the appeal.
--> Send appeals to [email protected]. Users will receive confirmation of receipt within 10 business days. - Review Process
--> Appeals are reviewed by Twin Galaxies Administration or a designated review panel.
--> The review process considers all submitted evidence and the original circumstances of the decision.
--> A final decision will be provided within 30 business days, though complex cases may take longer. - Outcome of Appeals
--> Twin Galaxies' decision on the appeal is final and binding.
--> No further external appeals or challenges will be entertained. - Limitations
--> Appeals deemed frivolous or lacking substantial evidence may be dismissed without review.
--> Decisions made through the Twin Galaxies Dispute System are final and cannot be appealed under this process. Appeals for dispute-related decisions must follow the internal review mechanism outlined in the dispute process.
- Your submissions are made voluntarily and explicitly for the purpose of public recognition, adjudication, archival, and display on the Twin Galaxies platform. Public Submission Data is essential to maintaining the integrity, historical record, and transparency of Twin Galaxies' adjudication system, and it is an inherent part of the platform's function and mission to publicly document video game achievements.
- By submitting Public Submission Data, you grant Twin Galaxies a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and transferable license to store, use, distribute, display, archive, and retain such content indefinitely. This grant of rights cannot be revoked under any circumstances, including but not limited to requests made under current or future data protection laws.
- You explicitly waive any rights to request the deletion or erasure of your Public Submission Data under any applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and similar regulations worldwide. This waiver includes any laws enacted in the future that grant users the right to request deletion or erasure of submitted content.
- Twin Galaxies retains Public Submission Data as part of its legitimate business interests, archival purposes, historical documentation, and freedom of expression. These retention practices are compliant with exceptions outlined in GDPR Article 17(3), CCPA, and other similar laws. Such exceptions include, but are not limited to, the retention of data for public interest, statistical purposes, research, and archival records.
- Twin Galaxies' use of Public Submission Data, including monetization through sub-licensing, artificial intelligence training, and media distribution, is inherently linked to its mission of enhancing public recognition for user achievements. By contributing content, you acknowledge and agree that these uses directly serve to amplify the visibility and legacy of your accomplishments within gaming culture and history.
If you no longer wish to be personally associated with your Public Submission Data, you may request that Twin Galaxies anonymize your data. Anonymization will remove or obscure personally identifiable information (e.g., your name, user profile, or other identifying details) while retaining the submitted content itself for archival, adjudication, and display purposes. Anonymization requests can be submitted to Twin Galaxies at [email protected] and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please note that anonymization is irreversible, may permanently terminate your Twin Galaxies membership in the form of a ban, and will not affect the public availability or adjudicated status of the data.
- You understand that your Public Submission Data is a contribution to the public record, akin to publicly recognized performance statistics in professional sports. Twin Galaxies cannot and will not delete such data, as doing so would undermine the integrity of its adjudication process, historical records, and public trust in the platform.
- This waiver applies solely to Public Submission Data and does not extend to private or sensitive personal information such as legal names, addresses, phone numbers, or payment details. Twin Galaxies will comply with applicable laws regarding the deletion of private data upon verified request and in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
- By submitting content, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. You further acknowledge that your participation in Twin Galaxies' platform is voluntary and that you fully consent to the permanent retention and public display of your submitted content as outlined in this agreement.
To ensure the continued operation and integrity of the Twin Galaxies platform, all users agree to waive certain legal claims and accept limitations on the platform's liability. These terms are designed to provide clarity and fairness while enabling Twin Galaxies to focus on its mission of archiving and verifying video game achievements. By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge the following:

--> The liability cap reflects the non-commercial nature of most user submissions and adjudications, as well as the platform's goal to operate as a community-driven service. The cap is intended to limit financial exposure to reasonable levels while still allowing users to raise legitimate concerns.
--> The cap ensures the platform can allocate resources equitably, avoiding undue burden from extraordinary claims that could affect the community at large.
