Blind Voting

"Blind Voting" is the term used for when someone votes on a submissions without properly vetting the submission. This may be simply opening up the submission and voting without doing anything, viewing others' "approved" comments and doing the same, or using some other combination of information that does not include actually evaluating the evidence.

Blind Voting is considered bad and undesirable behavior. Part of the reason the credibility system exists with the rules it has is to prevent blind voters from having a significant influence on the outcome of submissions.

Voters take a significant hit to their credibility when they are wrong. Blind voters will often miss very simple mistakes in a submission and get penalized if they don't see the submission being cancelled.
