Splatterhouse WR over 750k+

Gave it a few more attempts and I've gotten the Splatterhouse record comfortably beyond the 750k barrier with a 753,700! Pretty sure with a few more attempts, I should easily break through 800k. Pretty sure 850k+ is also reasonable, but would require decent luck and effort, which I'm not really feeling like going for right now. Might come back to it later if I feel like it, but this has been a pretty fun diversion from optimizing speedruns for me, so I'll roll with it until I break 800k first. Here's the run for anyone curious!

    I’m especially happy just to see you here taking about it. Fills me with hope tg will be able to be a pleasurable experience for a larger group than currently

    Thanks! I think whenever I do break 800k, I'll still put this to rest for a while so I can move on to more exciting speedrun projects. However, looking at my splits from my recent score attempts, I'm definitely capable of 900k+ if I have a run comparable to the optimization of some of my speedruns, but that'll be tough since it'll require perfect play and good luck. Technically 950k+ is also possible for me, but that's when you're running into "theoretically possible, but not realistically likely" territory.

    I mean, if TG can do the bare minimum of making sure that highly toxic people have no access to this place, as well as make sure blatant, provably cheated scores are removed & dealt with, then it at least has a chance. TG has at least made some decent strides in both of those lately, but it still seems to have missed a few spots here and there, so it still has a ways to go imo.

    totally agred, and i know you're a precise person so i know when you say "bare minimum" you mean it (unlike when 'bare minimum' is often used to mean below bare minimum).

    for cheatable scores, do you feel any proven cheatable scores still exist? I mean i'm sure there must be some, but i'm not aware of anyone any longer consiously turnin a blind eye to it. any list of scores you have with proof i'm sure people would challenge for you.

    as for toxicity, yeah thats a problem. I sure have my opinon on a few peole that need to go, but i'm sure i'm also on some people's list as someone who needs to go. I'll be honest with you, the aggorvation you dealt with, i dont see leaving any time soon, the only brightside ican give to that, is as you saw, the majority does care about doing things right and wins out. so the process itself has some misery but i do believe it finally results in the right answer
