True but headings should just be games, any track specifics should be specified under the track heading and rules IMO

One at a time (:
There's probably 100s of exceptions but I think we could work through them over time to make it easier to navigate the site + keep cleaning up the scoreboard (maybe need a separate thread for this type of request)

Definitely caution ahead. :D I've steadily changed tack over the years and now try to be explicit about what used to exist in the request and then how it should be changed - leaving a record of Before & After in the request.

So in this instance. I'd also include the suggestion that the MAME track title be changed from "Points" to "Version 3 [Points]" which is still correct as of 0.261. NB: my preference of syntax - others use different bracketing or hyphenation.

Good idea thanks I'll do that in the future.

Personally speaking, in your 10-yard fight example I think they should be combined under the single game "10-yard fight" but have different variations for different ROMsets and/or track types. Just me though and there's probably exceptions to this too!

So long as no-ones asking for the track scores to get mixed. :D

For me the discussion bleeds into regional differences also: "Bad Dudes vs. Dragonninja" or just "Dragonninja" or "Pac-Man" vs. "Puck-Man".

... then there's the community problem: anyone can create a track which ignores all the hard work (legacy or renamed)...

... and the time (willingness?) of TG admins to get around to the requests.

Arcade track: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/astro-blaster/arcade

Thanks!

This has far more complications than has been discussed so far and the overall issue stems from the original database. For the time being and forseeable future, we will not be able to do this. This would need to be part of a massive restructuring of the database, which at some point in the future will happen, but not anytime soon unfortunately.

On that note Jace, how technically feasible is it to combine tracks as suggested here: https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/269298-Guitar-Hero-and-Rock-Band-consolidation

Yes it was being worked on. You should be able to see it now. Can you?

Opening both of these drop-downs at the same time on mobile creates an ugly mess:

These three tracks should be removed. The game does not exist on this platform. The image is from the MSX port.

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/mr...e/commodore-64

From wikipedia:

"Ocean Software published a clone for the Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC, and ZX Spectrum as Kong Strikes Back! It incorporates cosmetic aspects of Donkey Kong."

Kong Strikes Back! is already in the database for the C64.

Who manage this?

Because of endless scrolling on the main page, this feature is not actually accessible from the main page:

Please, can you modify the RULES of this track:

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/brawl-brothers/super-nintendo-entertainment-system

( ADITIONAL INFO on all tracks are OK , no need to modify)

in the TRACK RULES of ALL tracks for this game , ( 1 player, 1 player hard difficulty, 2 player team, 2 player team hard difficulty ) , REPLACE the FOLLOWING TEXT :

" NO leeching allowed ( for example in sewers paths, no restart to path A. Do the sewers paths no restarting any A,B,C or D paths at any time . this count also in Elevator section near end of the game. do this section at once, without going to floors/rooms that not made the game progress or redoing floors/rooms that not contribute to game progress) "

WITH THIS OTHER:

" NO leeching allowed ( for example in sewers paths, no restart to path A.or repeating any path)

SEWERS section must be done in this order of paths :

A, B, C, D ( and no repeating any of them )

ELEVATOR section must be done in this order of floors:

15 , B01 , B04 , 3 , 13 , 14 , B06 , B12 ( and no repeating any of them ) "

This leaderboard should be titled "The Ninja Saviors", not "Ninja Saviors".

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/one-on-one/atari-7800

It says there is one record, but when you click in to it, there is none records:

Separately from that...

The rules state "Players must select a Timed Game from the menu screen." However from within "timed game" there are multiple options for length of the quarter. The default is 4 minutes. So I am proposing the rule to change from

"Players must select a Timed Game from the menu screen."

to

"Players must select a Timed Game (4 minutes) from the menu screen."

This rule change should also apply to the 2600+ version here: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/one-on-one-7800/atari-2600

This should be deleted as a game and the scores moved to this track:
