There is a question about the rules and how the score is calculated when a game has Rounds and Blowouts.

The Rules usually say "Ex. You won 2 Rounds 5-0 each and lose the 3rd Round. Your cumulative Biggest Blowout would be 10. If you won Round 1, 5-2 and Round 2 5-3 and lost the 3rd Round 0-1, your cumulative Biggest Blowout would be 4".
So does the losing round count or not count in the score?

"If you won Round 1, 5-2 and Round 2 5-3 and lost the 3rd Round 0-1, your cumulative Biggest Blowout would be 4"

Round 1 is a difference of 3; round 2 is a difference of 2 and round 3 is a difference of -1: 3+2-1 = 4.

My friend, I know maths... What about the line ""Ex. You won 2 Rounds 5-0 each and lose the 3rd Round. Your cumulative Biggest Blowout would be 10" ?

Since no example is given for the 3rd round, maybe they intended to write that the 3rd round was a tie. Whatever the case, it's an error in the wording. Losing rounds do indeed count.

I see. Then the line

"Ex. You won 2 Rounds 5-0 each and lose the 3rd Round. Your cumulative Biggest Blowout would be 10"

should be deleted. Or changed to ".....and you draw in the 3rd Round,...."

The Arcade Frogger record is incorrect. It reflects Pat Laffaye's record from 2009, not my record from 2022. My record has been filed under "Frogger - Bootleg/Multigame" which is is NOT, it was on an official standup arcade machine, clearly visible in the submitted video.

The sad thing about that dispute is that you had the top players in the world chiming in but never mentioned that it played exactly like Frogger should, who cares what hardware it was done on at that point, if it plays the same it should be accepted. But that discussion is for another place and time.

Thanks for the link. As asserted in the dispute, I had NO IDEA that my machine contained a bootleg PC board. The evidence is well laid out and I accept the decision. There is one item I would like assistance with:

"I am also concerned that two accounts belonging to him have been allowed to co-exist for almost a year and a half."

I completely lost the account that I submitted the original record of 960,770 in 2012. Is there any way I can get help to reclaim and/or combine these accounts? I do not want to get flagged for an administrative error like this.

Thanks,

Mike Smith
