Blind Sets His Eyes on the Prize, Walks Away With $7500 in Ninja Vegas '18

Ninja Vegas ‘18, Ninja’s first ever Fortnite tournament is live right now from the Esports Arena, Las Vegas, and there’s thousands of dollars up for grabs. Whoever manages to kill Ninja each game receives $2,500, along with $2,500 to the winner of the game. If Ninja emerges on top, then the bounty on his head will roll over to the next game, and the $2,500 for winning will be donated to Ninja’s charity of choice, Alzheimer’s Association. There’s three heats with three games per heat, meaning each player has three chances to grab that victory royale against Ninja and the other very strong players competing.

In the clip above, you can see ‘Blind’ eliminate Ninja in the first match of heat one, earning himself $2,500. He then went on to win that match, securing another $2,500, raking in all the plaudits for the very first game. As you can see in the clip below however, Blind wasn’t happy with just $2,500. He fought his way to the end of the second game, earning his second victory royale with an impressive nine kills.

Ninja was eliminated much earlier by Niibs who earned himself $2,500, while in the third game of the first heat, TwitchSaint faced off against Ninja in a 1v1 and came out victorious with a close range RPG, securing himself a nice $5,000. Heat two is currently underway where Ninja emerged victorious in the first game, and you can catch it all on Ninja’s official Twitch stream. Plenty of skilled Fortnite players are taking part in this tournament, including Myth, player for Team SoloMid, who will be involved with the third and final heat. Ninja and Myth have a long-standing friendly rivalry, and many fans often consider one or the other the best Fortnite player in the world.

Elsewhere in Fortnite news, controversial YouTuber Keemstar has announced a new tournament featuring many famous names.
