RiceGum "Retires" From Fortnite Team of FaZe Clan, New Player Revealed

Yesterday saw FaZe Clan make a very unexpected announcement regarding their competitive Fortnite Battle Royale team, as the organization had announced that Thomas "72hrs" Mulligan had been relased from the roster and that well known YouTuber Bryan "RiceGum" Le would become the fourth member of the Fortnite team with a new name of FaZe FORTGUM.

The announcement had many members of the gaming community very puzzled as to why the organization would drop a professional player for a YouTuber who is not well known for his high skill level in the popular battle royale game and considered the announcement a joke. Today, FaZe Clan went on to confirm that the addition of RiceGum to the roster was not meant to be taken seriously by announcing his "surprising" retirement from esports.

The well known North American esports organization would later reveal that the legitimate replacement for 72hrs and RiceGum on the competitive Fortnite team would be professional battle royale player Tfue.

Tfue joins Dennis "Cloak" Lepore, Thang "Spacelyon" Phan and Brendan "Jaomock" O'Brien on FaZe Clan's competitive Fortnite team and will be looking to have the organization continue the success that it has seen in Call of Duty and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) in the growing esports scene for Fortnite. Unfortunately, fans will now never get to witness RiceGum help lead FaZe Clan to a championship in the battle royale title.

With Tencent, the parent company of Epic Games, investing millions of dollars into the development of the title's esports scene, Tfue and the rest of his teammates will no doubt have multiple opportunities in the near future to show the world that FaZe Clan should be looked upon as the top organization in competitive Fortnite.
