The Open Beta for the upcoming PC co-op RPG creature slaying title Dauntless is now live for players to download and experience.
The Open Beta for the PC title Dauntless is now available for players to download and take part in, and it promises a great deal of open world monster hunting adventures for whoever is brave enough to traverse the world of Dauntless.
The action co-op RPG has players take on the role of Slayers who work together in parties to take down the giant monsters that inhabit the Dauntless world and are consuming the essence of the Shattered Isles, which is the floating realm that the game takes place in. Dauntless features a single player campaign and an "Evergame" mode that allows players to continue the monster hunting experience beyond the game's main story by taking on different challenges, higher difficulties and new and exciting creatures. Phoenix Labs has stated that it will continue to add new content to Dauntless through the game's life with new expansions, adventures and Dire Behemoths.
Players interested in trying out the experience of the title can download the Open Beta for PC for free on Dauntless' official website. Supporter Packs that range from $35 to $100 are available for those who are enjoying themselves and would like to help support the development of the highly anticipated title while also receiving some in-game loot.
With over one million players already having registered for the Dauntless Open Beta, it is clear that the gaming community is very interested in seeing what Dauntless is bringing to the table and if it can compete with the likes of Monster Hunter: World, which has been one of the biggest hits in the video game industry this year. However, with the PC version of Monster Hunter: World not expected to be released until Fall 2018, Phoenix Labs has a very strong opportunity to grab hold of the PC community who is wanting to enjoy a Monster Hunter style of experience with their title's Open Beta.
