A leak from dataminers suggests that Fortnite will be available on the Nintendo Switch Tuesday, June 12th.

The rumors and speculation regarding Fortnite Battle Royale coming to the Nintendo Switch have ramped up considerably ahead of the E3 2018 Nintendo press conference that is scheduled to take place Tuesday, June 12th at 9 AM PST. One of the most recent leaks suggesting that Fortnite will indeed be making its way onto the Nintendo Switch came when the Nintendo Switch version of Fortnite received a rating from the Korean Game Ratings Board.
Even with an official rating, there was still no official announcement regarding the battle royale game coming to the popular console. However, a new leak by a data miner that was posted on Twitter suggests that Fortnite will be available on the Nintendo Switch eShop Tuesday, June 12th.
Dataminer Simon Aarons posted a screenshot showing that the title has been uploaded to the Switch eShop, as the addition of Fortnite into the eShop of the console was discovered in the files of the virtual store, and is scheduled to be released tomorrow.
At the time of this writing, there still has been no official announcement from Epic Games or Nintendo regarding Fortnite coming to the console's eShop.
However, with a leaked screenshot of the battle royale title on the console's eShop with a release date set for Tuesday, June 12th and an official rating from the Korean Games Rating Board for this specific version of the title being made public, it does seem highly likely that the video game community will be getting an official announcement stating that Fortnite is indeed coming to the Switch eShop and will possibly be available to download and play right after the E3 2018 Nintendo press conference.
