Top Marvel vs. Capcom Streamers Fight to Keep the Dream Alive!

The Marvel vs. Capcom series has been a controversial topic amongst fighting game players since the first crossover title was released back in 1997. Some have embraced the games despite some flaws in gameplay and execution, while others continue to bash and insult the games and the people who enjoy it. If you’re a part of the former, we’ve collected some of the most entertaining Marvel vs. Capcom streamers for you to check out. If you’re part of the latter, check these streams out anyway! You might find yourself slowly coming around.

Watch Marvel vs Capcom Infinite with Scamby from Bum1six3 on www.twitch.tv

Bum is one of the most passionate streamers in the fighting game community. Bum’s Marvel streams generally consist of high-level players going over to Bum’s house (the affectionately named “House of Crack”) and running super long sets, some lasting five or six hours long! Those of us who remember posting up at the arcade and playing for hours on end against the same two or three people appreciate how intense these sets can be, and tune in whenever Bum starts streaming for some high level action. Plus, the man plays the best Arthur around - why wouldn’t you want to check him out?

• TeamSp00ky - https://www.twitch.tv/teamsp00ky/videos/all

Watch NLBC v.97 - MVCI Tournament from TeamSp00ky on www.twitch.tv

The man in the New York fighting game community, Spooky, streams the weekly Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite series at Next Level Arcade in Brooklyn every Wednesday night, where you can see all the top Marvel players battle each other to be top dog - for one week, at least. Spooky also hosts fighting game tournaments on the weekends and even sometimes hosts house streams, where he features everything from fighters new and old, to card games, to even old-school point-and-click adventure games. He’s also one of the chillest and most hard-working individuals out there and definitely deserves a follow.

• Clockw0rk - https://www.twitch.tv/mvcclockw0rk/

Watch Clock VS BILL ft1000 death stream from mvcclockw0rk on www.twitch.tv

Yes, the same guy that you’ve seen in those old, grainy first-generation YouTube videos playing Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is still kicking ass in the Infinite era and still using his team mainstay Strider Hiryu. I’ve learned a lot of Strider tech from watching Clockw0rk and every time I see him online, I always try to watch a little and take notes. If you’re going to learn from someone, might as well learn from the best, right?

• Dios_X_Reloaded - https://www.twitch.tv/dios_x_reloaded/

Watch Lets play marvel! Come hang with me :D from Dios_X_Reloaded on www.twitch.tv

Who got the best Sentinel? Dios do. While you won’t be seeing any Sentintel in Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite for a long time, you can still see one of the most respected Marvel 2 old heads wreck havoc when he’s on. Dios doesn’t seem to have a regular streaming schedule, but when he’s on, you definitely want to tune in.

• GoForBroke - https://www.twitch.tv/goforbroke

Watch Marvelicious from GOFORBROKE on www.twitch.tv

Nobody ever said the streams only had to stream Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, just Marvel vs. Capcom. GoForBroke streams the Playstation 3 version of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 relatively often and will create lobbies to play with viewers or whoever’s online at the time. If you’re a fan of old-school fighters, you’ll love checking out GoForBroke’s stream.

• IFCYipes - http://www.twitch.tv/ifcyipes

Watch "The Cookout" Me vs Punk first to 100 in MvCi from IFCYipeS on www.twitch.tv

Last, but definitely not least, is the man who is synonymous with Marvel - Yipes. Another old head that’s been around since the grainy MvC2 days, Yipes is the reason for much of the lingo that surrounds the game. Whether you’re scooping Haagen Dazs, being Pringles with your Curly Moustache, or rocking the Mango Sentinel, (and sharing the same opinion on the Knicks as Yipes does [NSFW language]) you can thank Yipes for being the creative mind behind all of it.
