The Overwatch League pro's will need to do more than just play competitive matches, with the All-Star weekend featuring skill challenges in the form of custom games.

The Overwatch League All Star Weekend is fast approaching, and while many fans are eagerly awaiting the clashes between the Pacific and Atlantic teams, Blizzard have unveiled some less serious, but still very competitive, custom game challenges that the players will be undertaking.
Kicking off the weekend on Saturday August 25th, the Pacific and Atlantic teams will be squaring off in a series of show matches, with the games testing their ability to compete in popular custom game modes, much like you’ll find in the Arcade. Starting the day will be a 3v3 best-of-three Lúcioball series, on the new Busan Lúcioball Arena map. Each match will last for five minutes, with tie’s going to sudden death overtime.
Next on the agenda is a 6v6 Mystery Heroes game using standard competitive settings in a best-of-three series on control maps Ilios, Lijiang Tower, and Nepal. Following this match is a series of 1v1 Widowmaker duels, with the players and coaches from each team picking their four best snipers to compete. The four players from each squad will compete head-to-head until there’s one Atlantic and one Pacific champion. The two champions will face off in the final. The winner for all matches prior to the final will be first player to reach five eliminations. The final will be decided by the first to seven eliminations. Eliminations are headshot only, and automatic firing will be disabled. There will be no capture points, but after 30 seconds player locations will be visible to both players. A match will result in a draw after five minutes.
The Overwatch League All Star Weekend promises to be a fun and entertaining break to cap off the inaugural Overwatch League season, before the players begin to properly prepare for the Overwatch league World Cup.
