Watch Pro Overwatch Player Seagull Die To A Supply Drop In Black Ops 4

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launched late last week and while a lot of players have jumped straight into the traditional multiplayer modes, others are getting stuck into the new battle royale mode, Blackout. It’s Call of Duty’s first attempt at a battle royale since the genre exploded in popularity nearly two years ago and they seem to have hit it out of the park. The game has frequently been at the top of the Twitch charts, beating out games like Fortnite, League of Legends and DotA 2, meaning it’s been a massive success.

While playing the new Blackout mode, former Dallas Fuel tank Seagull stumbled upon a supply drop. Alongside his teammate Elk, they watched it start to roll down the hill. Because believe it or not, objects roll down slopes. “Uh, is this right in front of us, just rolling?” Seagull asked. “I didn’t know they rolled like that. Where does it stop, how do we loot it?!” These were the questions Seagull vocalised, before the unexpected happened.

He and Elk both tried to get on the other side of the supply crate to loot it while it was sliding. The obstruction caused it to roll onto its side… right on top of Seagull and Elk. It killed them both outright as they erupted into fits of laughter. “Eliminted by: Hit by Object” flashed on the screen, as a reminder of their foolish ways. “What a joke!” were the final words from Seagull before the clip cuts out.

Hilariously, the quote on the death screen came from Ernest Hemingway: “In modern war… you will die like a dog for no reason.” Rather fitting, don’t you think? It’s not the only funny clip from Blackout either. Summit1g has an infamous history with molotov cocktails in multiple games, and his unlucky streak hasn’t ended with Blackout. Check out this clip of him killing himself by throwing a molotov against a door while playing duos with JoshOG.
