Pokemon Go Health Bug, Patch Notes Adds Sinnoh Gen 4 And Adjusts CP Stats

As previously teased, Niantic is bringing pokemon that originated in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl to the mobile game Pokemon Go. This brings 106 new possibilities to the game and, based on an iOS update today, is likely to start incredibly soon.

At the time of writing, Android users have not seen the same update under "What's New" in Google Play, but an update has happened today with "Bug fixes". This is due to a "stat alteration" that was previously mentioned and affected all caught Pokemon. Players noticed that the CP of their caught Pokemon was higher, but the HP is missing chunks and not full on almost any of them.

Do not waste potions as the "bug fix" in the newest update solves the issue by reverting them back to the old CP values for the time being (This writer used over 60 potions before he realized it). If you're used to using IV/EV calculators, don't worry! Since the CP has been reverted back, they are usable again. When the stat modifications were in place, they were unusable though due to the dramatic changes in numbers.

Otherwise, Gen 4 Pokemon from the Sinnoh region were teased last week in a video, showing the silhouttes of Turtwig, Piplup, and Chimchar. There are several mythical and legendary Pokemon in Gen 4 and it's likely thet Niantic will utilize a similar structure as previous generations to get them, such as EX-Raids and Special Research. Pokemon like Rotom have several forms, as well as Arceus having the ability to hold items to have specific typing, and it has not been shown how the multiple forms and elements may play into the game.

Additionally, Eeveelutions Leafeon and Glaceon premiered in Gen 4, which will likely be obtainable in some way in Pokemon Go. I hope you saved some of those Eevees and candy from the recent Eevee Community Day!
