Mounted Turret Coming to Fortnite Battle Royale

With every new major content update for Fortnite Battle Royale that is implemented by Epic Games, the community for the massively popular game can always expect the developer to add another new weapon, vehicle or item for players to experience. Thanks to an update to the in-game news tab of Fortnite players now know what new item will be coming to Fortnite in this week's content update, as the Mounted Turret has been announced.

The official description for the next weapon coming to Fortnite states that players will be able to place the Mounted Turret on any location and be able to fire a great amount of suppressive fire to enemies. However, an overheating mechanic that will stop the Mounted Turret from firing was also described in the description of the new weapon that is coming soon to the battle royale game.

In the same manner of the Guided Rocket that was previously added into Fortnite, the new Mounted Turret looks to be able to provide players with a major boost in firepower while limiting their movement to a stand still in order to use the weapon. This weapon will likely be a very powerful item to use in late game situations where its suppressive firepower should be able to knock down structures with ease. However, players will likely be open to a well placed sniper shot when they are using the new weapon for the popular title.

Optic Gaming content creator Jack "CouRage" Dunlop posted a clip to his Twitter account when he first saw the announcement of the Mounted Turret coming to Fortnite and gave a hilarious example of how he and Tyler "Ninja" Belvins would use the Mounted Turret.
