An Iceberg Is Coming To Fortnite, And It Has A Castle On It

Players of Fortnite are now doubt used to seeing strange and wacky things making an appearance in the game, after all, the last few seasons have seen time warps and floating islands travelling around the map. That being said, a new strange object seems to be coming to the map that might be coinciding with the arrival of season seven.

What initially appeared to be a snowstorm approaching now looks to be more like an iceberg, thanks to images posted on Reddit. While it’s pretty clear that Epic Games didn’t intent for us to find it quite so quickly, they do seem to be on the ball when it comes to making changes, with the castle now appearing to be occupied and lit up.

Fortnite Intel have got an image of the castle with the lights on, possibly meaning that someone is now living in the building as it approaches the island. It’s too early to tell what the plan is for the iceberg and the castle that it apparently contains, and Epic Games haven’t yet made any kind of announcement on what it might mean. Could the castle be buried in the ice, only to become a part of the map once it collides with the island? Will this be heralding a new theme for season seven, tying the event to winter and Christmas? It’s unclear right now, but at the very least we’re pretty keen to see what’s coming next to the game.
