MrDeadMoth, a Fortnite streamer from Australia has been banned from Twitch and has deleted his Twitter account after a clip of him beating his pregnant wife has been brought to light by Rod “Slasher” Breslau. While streaming the popular battle royale title, his wife can be heard asking him to stop playing because he’s been on the game for too long. You can watch the clip below for yourself, but be aware that it may be difficult to watch.
Twitch streamer MrDeadMoth hits his wife with domestic abuse live on stream. Absolutely horrific. According to @Cylints the wife is okay and the streamer has been arrested. pic.twitter.com/BOvEucP5io

He replies to his wife by saying “Can you not? I said I’ll be out soon,” before leaving the game and standing up to focus on his wife. The sound of him slapping her can be heard in the background, followed by the wife and child starting to cry. She begs him not to hit her in the face, before saying to his viewers that she’d cooked dinner an hour ago and that she wasn’t leaving till she’d made her point. He then gets up and hits her again, making her cry and shouting at her to go away. In a second clip posted by Keemstar, more of the same continues as he acts violently and aggressively towards her.
There is unfortunately an even worse second part with their child crying in the background. pic.twitter.com/oauoNi2ZUk

According to Newsweek, the clip was initially sent to @RevvOCE. Another Twitter user by the name of @Cylints did some digging and leaked the password to some of his social media accounts and also alerted the authorities. At the time of writing, MrDeadMoth has apparently been apprehended after initially evading the police, and all of the charges against his wife have been dropped. @Cylints has also confirmed that his Epic Games account (the one he uses to play Fortnite) “has been compromised, purchases restored & all skins have been returned (eligible ones). Whoops.”
