Scump and Crimsix Speak on Playing With Karma Again on Optic Gaming at CWL Vegas
By Nicholas Barth ·
OpTic Gaming veterans Scump and Crimsix explained how it has been competing with Karma again at CWL Vegas in Black Ops 4 after Karma had been released from the team last season.

The OpTic Gaming Call of Duty World League (CWL) roster for Black Ops 4 is currently on an extremely impressive run at CWL Vegas where the roster of Seth "Scump" Abner, Ian "Crimsix" Porter, Damon "Karma" Barlow, Tommy "TJHaly" and Brandon "Dashy" O'Tell have yet to lose a match.
This five man roster came into the first CWL LAN event of the Black Ops 4 season as the favorites to hoist the trophy, as many found it hard to argue against a roster consisting of three of the four players (Scump, Karma and Crimsix) that were behind the OpTic Gaming Call of Duty dynasty that was formed in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and two of the of the most talented young players (TJHaly and Dashy) in the Call of Duty esports scene.
Fans of OpTic Gaming were extremely excited to see that Karma would be competing with the organization again in the Black Ops 4 season beginning at CWL Vegas, as Karma had been released from OpTic Gaming back in the 2018 CWL season. However, the change to five player teams allowed Karma to make his return to OpTic Gaming for Black Ops 4 and the three-time world champion has been an instrumental part in OpTic Gaming having a very successful run at CWL Vegas.
Twin Galaxies was able to sit down with Scump and Crimsix at CWL Vegas and get an inside look at how it has been for the two players in regards to competing with Karma again after OpTic Gaming had released him last season.
"I mean it is awesome. A lot of people were worried. They were wondering if there would be bad blood there, and honestly the first couple of times I saw him in person it was a little weird because we did him wrong, and we know we did him wrong," said Scump. "It really just has been trying to mend that relationship, and right now we're winning so everything is going really well for us in terms of team chemistry and getting along with each other."
"It felt really weird not having him sit next to me when competing. I'm just glad to have him back. It really feels like the old team, but just a little bit different," Crimsix told Twin Galaxies. "Everything feels rejuvenated. We definitely needed a team change back then most likely, but now it is just like everyone loves our team, so I am just really happy with how we are all playing."
Scump, Crimsix, Karma and the rest of the OpTic Gaming roster will be looking to have their revamped team chemistry push them towards a championship on Sunday, December 9th at CWL Vegas.
