Rapper Lil Yachty Joins FaZe Clan

American rapper Miles Parks McCollum, better known as Lil Yachty, has joined FaZe Clan. During his performance at the Rolling Loud music festival in LA this weekend, Lil Yachty revealed that he has joined one of the most popular organizations in esports today.

Lil Yachty will go by the name of FaZe Boat, revealed as he was joined on stage by other members of FaZe Clan during the set, including Thomas “Temperrr” Oliveira and Ricky Banks. At this stage it’s unclear what Lil Yachty’s role will be with the organization, however FaZe Clan has made strides this past year when it comes to teaming up with non-esports celebrities, as evidenced earlier this year when the organization teamed up with Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster to produce official merchandise.

FaZe Clan has grown over the past year, going from an organization that was respected for their efforts in a few esports competitions, to one of the biggest brands out there. If the partnerships between the organization and outside media continues into 2019, then FaZe Clan could very well become the biggest brand in esports as they continue to dominate their respective games and social media.
