Every Confirmed Team for WorldGaming's Canadian Championship Series

Professional Call of Duty will be heading to Toronto, Canada, as the WorldGaming Canadian Championship Series will see eight teams competing in Call of Duty: WWII from March 3rd to the 4th for the grand prize of $25,000. There will be two qualifying stages, as the eight teams will battle for the right to play in the live finals at the Scotiabank Theater Toronto. The final stage of the event will have two groups of four teams playing a double elimination bracket. The top two teams from each group will compete in single elimination, best-of-five playoff matches.

The competing field consists of the following teams:

Group A

• eUnited
• GGEA Orange
• TopProspectClan
• MockItEsports

Group B

• Lighting Pandaz
• Gone Gaming
• compLexity Gaming
• Alpha

With a total prize pool of $60,000 to be spread out among the particpating teams, every team will be looking to finish as high as possible to collect one of the larger prizes. A difference of $12,000 between finishing 1st and 2nd means that the grand final will have a large amount riding on it.

The prize pool will be divided in the following increments:

• 1st: $25,000
• 2nd: $13,000
• 3rd - 4th: $6,000
• 5th - 6th: $3,000
• 7th - 8th: $2,000

The favorites for the event look to be eUnited, GGEA Orange, compLexity Gaming and Lighting Pandaz. Powerhouse eUnited is currently the only team in the field in the Call of Duty World League (CWL) Pro League and boasts a talented roster. GGEA Orange were crowned champions of the CWL United States National Circuit. Lighting Pandaz are the undefeated champions of the CWL Canadian National Circuit. Even though compLexity Gaming has not had much success this season, their roster is filled with experienced players who have competed at the highest level. Fans will be able to view all of the action on the WorldGaming Twitch channel.
