BlocBoy JB Might Sue Fortnite Over Shoot Dance Emote
By Nicholas Barth ·
Rapper BlocBoy JB has revealed that he might sue Epic Games over the use of his Shoot dance in Fortnite.

One of the most popular features that has helped Fortnite Battle Royale rise to being what many consider to be the most popular game in the world has been the area of emotes. These emotes allow Fortnite players to have their character perform dances and other actions that often reference popular culture with many of the emote dances being signature dances from musical artists, television shows, the internet and more.
However, a few of the people behind the creation and or surge in popularity of some of the dances that have inspired the most popular Fortnite emotes have not been happy with developer Epic Games making a great deal of money from the selling of these emotes and have led to multiple lawsuits. The latest individual to begin considering the suing of Fortnite and Epic Games for the use of their popular dance move is BlocBoy JB who revealed that he might possibly sue Fortnite over the use of his Shoot dance.
BlocBoy JB Suing Fortnite?
During the morning of Thursday, December 20th, BlocBoy JB took to Twitter and posted a tweet asking his followers if he should sue Fortnite over the use of his Shoot dance.
Should I Sue Fortnite Or Nah?

With BlocBoy JB not having a copyright on his signature Shoot dance, many responded to BlocBoy JB stating that the rapper should not sue Epic Games and instead should work to do business with the developer to collect a share of the money they earned from his Shoot dance and in turn BlocBoy JB could help open the door for other artists to be paid for having their dances in the battle royale title.
BlocBoy JB has not yet addressed his potential suing of Fortnite since his tweet earlier in the day on December 20th.
The creator of the Shoot dance would be the latest individual to sue Epic Games over emotes, as Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star Alfonso Ribeiro has sued the developer of the battle royale game for the use of his Carlton Dance, rapper 2 Milly is suing Epic Games over his Milly Rock dance being used in the game and internet sensation Backpack Kid has also sued Epic Games for the Flossin dance he skyrocketed into popularity being added into the title.
